Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Loch Tay

This was an amazing place for us to stay as an extended family. There were nine of us, plus two dogs, and we rented the Doocot and the Lodge in the grounds. It is located right up in the hills and was blissfully remote yet easily accessible to the A90 to Perth and Dundee. The house itself was very comfortable and exactly as described. The sitting room was amazing with its enormously high ceilings, plenty of squishy sofas and a piano. There was also a Smart TV. For us, the best feature was the enormous dining table which easily seated us all and could have taken several other people too. We had lovely meals together all round the table. It was really memorable. The bathrooms were clean and new. The roll top bath was lovely and super to soak in. Check in, host communications etc were all super easy and they even helped us to have a hot tub ready for our arrival from Fife Hot Tub Hire. All in all, would highly recommend to people looking for a comfortable break away in the hills.

Paula’s place was just as described. Very nice, clean and the decor is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor area as well. Highly recommend to anyone staying In the area.

We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

We have had a great stay! It was nice to have a fully equipped and large kitchen and washing machine.

Alice is a fantastic host. She responded quickly to the questions we had and offered recommendations for dinner. Our stay was short but her property made it easy. We were minutes away from multiple trails, delicious food, and looked forward to the comforts of home at the end of the day. Beautiful place! Great location!

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iona's apartment. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Less than 10 minute drive to Aviemore and on the doorstep of the Cairngorms where we spent most of our time!

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

In aller Kürze: zentral, historisch, super Gastgeberin- perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Edinburgh und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Pubs/leckere Restaurants, die Royal Mile direkt vor der Haustüre , alle bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen - geht kaum besser!

A gem right in the middle of Old Town! Everything we wanted to see was accessible steps from the street entrance. The only drawback for one of our party was getting up the four flights of stairs. Pack light for this booking. Thank you Charlotte for sharing your lovely place!

Anne's place is absolutely gorgeous. the furnishings are comfortable, the location in perfect and the views are spectacular. Anne was helpful and friendly. The flat is far more beautiful in person. The pictures are accurate and yet still don't do it justice. I will definitely stay here again!

A magical place to stay, especially with children! Has everything you need and more. Comfortable rooms, and a magnificent banqueting table in the kitchen for communal meals. The lounge is bigger than it looks in the photo and can comfortably seat everybody staying. Roberta was really helpful in the run up, answering various questions I had and giving useful suggestions. We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Very comfortable house right in the heart of Newtonmore - was a perfect location for a family winter break. Lots of space with 2 lounges and generously sized bedrooms. Really well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen in particular plus lots of games and books for the wet days (there were a few!). Off-street parking, nearby co-op shop and responsive hosts made for a stress free and enjoyable stay. We hope to be back!

Brilliant stay highly recommended, we are staying between house moves and this place has been amazing for us

We couldn’t have found anything better than this place for a group of 8 of us staying to hike Ben Nevis and explore the surrounding areas. It had everything we needed and was worth every penny. The location is very peaceful and out of the way with a stunning view of the mountains and only a 15 minute drive away from Fort William. We hope to come back at some point in the future and stay for longer to explore this side of Scotland some more. The hosts are very friendly and are very easy to communicate with regarding check in and any requests.

Geweldige villa! Heerlijk verblijf gehad met mijn familie. Mijn ouders zijn 40 jaar getrouwd en kregen een handgeschreven kaart in het Nederlands, champagne en wat lekkers. Zeer attent! Jonathan reageert heel snel en is erg behulpzaam. Het huis is erg luxe ingericht. De bioscoop ruimte is heel leuk. We zouden hier zeker een keer terug gaan. Een echte aanrader!

While we were not at the unit much (we were out sightseeing), it was a great place to come back to. There was plenty of space, photos are accurate, it was well maintained, clean and well equipped. Robin was always responsive with our questions within a short time. Great choice! We would stay again!

Had a couple of issues, for example low gas in the patio furnitures fire pit, however John was proactive with solving any minor issues we had. Nice knowing we’re celebrating another Celtic League win in the gracious host of a fellow supporter. Couldn’t recommend enough.
