Holiday rentals in Lough Key

The space is a gem. It is located exactly between Sligo and Ballina and it takes about 30 minutes by car. The location by the sea is perfect for escaping everyday life. The direct private path takes you within 2 minutes to a deserted sandy beach. By the way, the homemade bread is also recommended and ensures a family arrival. The extra costs for oil and electricity are absolutely within the frame and do not blow up the holiday fund. I definitely recommend it and would come back myself as it was a perfect location for the excursions and hikes in the area. Very happy with our stay, Host had made the fire before we arrived which was very much appreciated and made settling in that much easier. Any issues we had ie, electric being out Conor was very quick to respond and assure us their was a power outage in the area.

Stayed over Easter. House was immaculate. It was like being at home. Everything we needed was provided. Hilary was very helpful and lovely to talk to.

Just returned from a two night stay at Amy’s cabin with my 9 year old daughter. We had a wonderful time. The cabin is exactly as described, warm and cosy with all the things you need for your stay. Amy is so welcoming and friendly. She showed us how to feed the alpacas and greedy sheep and gave my daughter a huge bucket of food for them. This was the absolute highlight of the trip for my daughter. Can’t recommend Amy’s place enough, it was fabulous. Hope to stay again sometime soon.

What a beautiful and peaceful location! If you had a favorite Irish grandmother to visit, this would be her cosy cottage. The setting is gorgeous, in the middle of green fields with sheep and cows for neighbors. Great for walking and close to a lovely beach. Easy to access all the beautiful places in County Sligo. Would definitely stay again, we were sorry to leave. Thank you Tracey and Eilish!

We visited Sligo for a chess club championship and chose to stay in this bungalow with our team. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The spacious layout allowed our team to unwind and socialize after matches, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal retreat. The host was welcoming and attentive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sligo, whether for a sporting event, a family trip, or a relaxing getaway.

Yvonne was a wonderful host, her warm welcome made the stay even more enjoyable. We loved how the place was designed and the views were wonderful. The log burner made the place so homely. Despite the rain, we had such a lovely time at Yvonne's place and would certainly recommend to all. Thanks again for having us.
