The space
This cliff-side home in Terres Basses has been recently redesigned and boasts stunning ocean views, manicured gardens and a spacious interior, making it one of our favorite St. Martin villas. The Caribbean island of St. Martin is dominated by colorful tropical plants and is well known for its eclectic nightlife, fine beaches and diverse dining.
Everyday stress will melt away as you stretch out onto on of the many chaise loungers scattered around the tiled terrace. The freeform overflow pool sits on the edge of the deck and appears to blend into the ocean ahead, even better is that you can swim and lounge in complete privacy—the villa sits on over two acres of property and is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. In the covered portion of the patio are two separate seating areas with wicker furnishings, making this a perfect spot to relax in cool shade. Additional amenities include a fully equipped gym and the services of a maid and night guard.
The interior of the home has been tastefully decorated. The living room opens up to the terrace and features light marble flooring, Romanesque stone columns, and classically styled furnishings. Multiple seating areas throughout the home will ensure that you and your guests are able to enjoy your quiet time when necessary. And if you’re up to cooking, the spacious kitchen is fully equipped with gas ovens and plenty of counter space.
The villa is a short one-minute drive from the beach where you can stretch out on the white platinum sand or enjoy swimming or snorkeling in its warm waters. A 12-minute drive brings you into the capital city, Marigot, where you’ll discover gingerbread houses and sidewalk bistros as well as boutique shopping and dining opportunities.
