The space

The villa is surrounded by a spacious, private yard, where kids can kick a ball around or build snow forts while adults keep an eye on them through the living room’s large windows. Children will also love playing in the heated indoor pool, while grown-ups can turn on the pool’s jet stream for a workout. After a long day on the slopes, a home theater and inviting fireplace are the perfect places to cozy up for a quiet evening in.
Wood-paneled spaces and a peaked roof are nods to classic chalet style, but floor-to-ceiling windows, clean-lined modern pieces and sections of living wall keep the interiors bright and airy. In the great room, a pair of sofas create a welcoming conversation spot in front of the fireplace, and a vibrant chevron pattern on a set of ottomans echoes the zigzagging lines of the branches placed in front of the windows as sculpture. Clear Louis Ghost chairs show a strong designer pedigree in the dining room without interrupting the mountain views, and the table is thoughtfully connected to the kitchen island to make meal prep and serving a snap.
Each of the four bedrooms at Chalet Laszlo has an en-suite bathroom. The primary suite is a place to relive your honeymoon, with a queen bed, its own fireplace and a private terrace. There are two other bedrooms with double beds on the same floor, and upstairs, there’s a kids’ room with a double bed and two twin beds.
Plan to travel to Chalet Laszlo via Geneva International Airport, 81 km drive from the villa. Not only is the property in a stunning location on the Ormaret road between Megeve and Combloux, with views of the whole Mont-Blanc range, it’s also convenient, putting you just a 5-minute drive from the nearest ski slopes and from the five-star shopping and dining in downtown Megeve.
