The space
Take a bottle of wine down to the beach and watch the Caribbean sunset from your own private island in the Bahamas. When the sun disappears, make your way to the hot tub for a little stargazing with that special someone. Before bed, join the group around the campfire for one more s’more.
Wander Middle Cay’s 2-acre estate to find coconut tree groves, private beachfront, and 2 private docks. Accommodations are split between 2 air-conditioned, open-concept villas, making this island perfect for multi-family getaways and group vacations. Warm wood tones, stone features, and ocean-inspired turquoise create a modern, natural vibe inside. During your stay, you’ll enjoy daily housekeeping and the assistance of a boat captain. Outside, palm trees, sun loungers, and lush tropical greenery decorate the multiple lounges, dining areas, and pool deck. After a trip to the local market, spend the afternoon grilling on the barbecue while the kids play beach volleyball.
Book a surfing lesson in Eleuthra or check out Ocean Hole, a natural inland swimming spot. The crystal clear waters make it easy to spot bright tropical fish, and maybe even a sea turtle or two. Later, hop in a water taxi and head for Dunmore Town to find a favorite new restaurant. If you’d rather catch your own dinner, Middle Cay comes with fishing gear, a canoe, and a sailboat.
