The space
Sea and sky dominate the views, while stucco and stone dominate the architecture at this classic-looking Mykonos villa above the harbor in Psarou. The stone walls make it feel like it’s nestled into the hillside, and a near-infinity private heated pool, seems to drop away to the Aegean.
It’s a short drive to Psarou Beach, an oasis of turquoise water and golden sand that’s one of the island’s most popular spots.

Yachts steaming in and out of the bay add a slice of life to the vistas of the sky and the bay—and are just the thing to watch while you’re swimming in the pool or stretched out on a sunbed on the pool terrace. Follow the steps up to a second terrace level with a sun-splashed sitting area or cool off in the shade of the covered alfresco dining area over meals from the barbecue.

French doors draped in gauzy curtains lead from the terrace into the great room, where an open-concept living area and dining area share a beamed ceiling. A pebble-like coffee table and slipcovered dining chairs lend a feeling of simple sophistication. The separate kitchen is fully equipped.

Make the short drive to Psarou Beach, a gorgeous sandy cove that stretches along a jewel-toned bay. Lie out underneath an umbrella, go for a swim, or spot celebs in the beachfront restaurants and bars.
