The accommodation is located in a quiet, family-friendly area with proximity to nature, shops and Kristianstad city center, which can be reached in 5 minutes by car or 12 minutes by bus. Welcome to rent our spacious guest apartment for one or more nights! There are two separate bedrooms as well as a living room with sofa bed, perfect accommodation for a larger group or for those who have pets. Private driveway with parking facilities for several cars. Completely separate entrance, and you have the whole lawn in the back to yourself. Large fully-equipped kitchen for 6 people. Good location, a few minutes by car from the E22, and 4.5 km to central Kristianstad, 12 km to the sandy beach in cozy Åhus.

The wooden house

Träskhuset is an architect-designed house built in 2023. It is built of cross-glued wood and stands on posts in a swamp with the beech forest as the closest neighbor. In winter, you are surrounded by water, in summer, high vegetation. Here you live in a stylish house overlooking the forest. Design by Sorgenfri Build Concept. Free parking on a shared driveway. Electric vehicle charging available. The house is about 50 meters from our own house. Happy children's screams can therefore sometimes be heard nearby.

We are 10 minutes from Kristianstad, 20 minutes from Ahus and the same to beautiful beaches along the coast. Local amenities are (Supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant) within 3km of the cottage and the bus is 15 mins away.

During winter months in Sweden it is 22 degrees in the house.
