Pretty stone cottage

Quaint little township in a very calm area, has the necessary utensils to prepare easy meals, in my opinion a microwave and a coffee machine is missing. Everything was clean and the heating was already on when we arrived what is an added value. Dª Rosa is friendly and answered promptly to the questions posed. Breakfast has been delivered hourly combined in a basket and although simple is enough. Bread, homemade milk breads, dry cakes (were different in 2 days), milk, powdered coffee, natural orange juice, butter, cheese and ham, natural yogurts and honey and jam in bottles. The site is very quiet to rest up and get away from the routine. I wouldn't mind coming back.

We adored the house, full of details that demonstrate the care with which it was prepared for the guests. Impeccable cleaning, comfortable beds and very pleasant spaces. Hosts' sympathy and hospitality is cherry on cake. All 5 stars!

If you are looking for a little slice of heaven then this is it! Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature. Daniel was the best host and was responsive to all our needs and questions. The tiny cottage is so quaint. I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend!

We had a very enjoyable two weeks at Natalie and Simon's place. The sunsets were incredibly beautiful given the unobstructed views right from our balcony. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Our hosts made sure we were cosy and warm by heating the place for us when we got home from our daytrips in the evening. We also had a steady supply of fresh eggs, oranges and more. We recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a slower paced rural lifestyle, perfect for rest and relaxation and exploring the area.

We had a great 3 night stay at Erica's place. The house had everything we needed to cater for ourselves and we loved the outdoor terrace with view of the pool. Having a little fenced area around the house was perfect for us and our dog to relax without worry. Erica was a lovely host and even allowed us to take cuttings from the plants in the beautiful garden! We hope to visit again.

Unreal beautiful views ,quiet ,funny animals and very friendly hosts . It was the best self check-in ,no quests are simple and clear. Delicious breakfasts with a magical appearance at the door. The key is very friendly ,my dog was delighted with such a neighbor. The house has a fireplace,air conditioners and Dyson so you will not be able to freeze. Parking place near the house ,under the roof, which is very convenient . We really liked it , we will definitely come again )

An oasis of peace and a very enchanting property with its own charm and character. We enjoyed our stay, friendly and open-minded people, James cares and cares wherever possible. Rarely have we felt so welcome and comfortable. The cleanliness and amenities are excellent. In nearby Vila de Rei you will find everything you need. We would love to repeat our stay in the future, we miss it already.

Wonderful stay. Ana is a very attentive person and always available. The house is in great condition, in the middle of the countryside, great for resting and relaxing. You can hear a few cars passing by, but nothing that's uncomfortable. Fresh house in the heat there. Fantastic barbecue area for barbecue and parking cars. We really enjoyed it and plan to come back.

It’s a shame we haven’t booked in for longer! The area is stunning and peaceful, very quiet and remote. A car to have is useful. The massive pool with salt water was the highlight for our kids as it was just us in it and they loved to cool down after the hot day. Breakfast is tasty with home baked bread rolls and jam, scrambled eggs, cereals, coffee ect. We were surprised as to how much the area has to offer and there is plenty to explore, such as hiking trails, river swims and old Portuguese villages( schist villages). Wendy is a very welcoming and attentive host. We felt at home right away. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Erica's was superb. The house is very good, very clean, the beds very comfortable. Erica is very nice, smiling and available. She gives plenty of advice that we followed. We recommend the house. We have very good memories, it was great!
