Beachfront holiday rentals in Madagascar

At the end of a challenging year, there was no better place to bring in 2021. We enjoyed fresh seafood every day that was expertly prepared by the house staff. The sunsets and the evening breeze were exceptional, creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

The house has an enviable location, with views of both sunrise and sunset from the two platforms that stretch to almost touch the sea. The Garden is very well maintained with beautiful trees that shade part of the garden. The house is simple and tastefully furnished: colorful concrete floors, local canopy beds, a very comfortable hammock and - especially - a beautiful view from the many windows that open to the walls that look out to the sea. Roselle and Jeudi are discreet and always ready to meet any need. They speak like all Malgasci, French. Philippe (max) welcomed us upon arrival and departure and was always available to give advice or resolve small issues. All in a dreamy stay in the wonderful Nosy Komba. Carine and Franck are delicious and considerate hosts. Efficient, caring: they recreated Paradise in Nosy Komba , just for you! Once you are on the terrace: you no longer want to move! Amazing comfort ( as you live on an island with no roads ), a perfectly organized house for living, cooking, relaxing. The Garden of Eden when you take your shower outside, and the peace of an Oasis when you enjoy the terrace!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Tsara Vintana. It's right by the sea and a 5-minute walk to Ambatolaoka. Fiza and Gloria are very good cooks and they were very attentive to us. The bedrooms are big and well decorated. And the view of the beach is beautiful. It was just missing a microwave and a convenient oven to warm up our dishes, but that didn't spoil our vacation. I will give you again Villa Tsara. You will be very well hosted there and Eliane the host is always there if you have any questions.

It's a dream villa by the sea, with a quiet location and very large, clean and tastefully furnished. On the terrace you have a beautiful sea view while eating. The pool is very clean and warm. The chef is very friendly and spoiled us with culinary delights. The staff were very nice. There is plenty to discover and experience in the area. The host family is very friendly and we felt comfortable and recovered very well. We can only recommend the villa.

So first to say, I spent 2 months at La Spiaggia. It was an outstanding time. I five starred everything in the review because the place itself, I would have given 7 starts if I could. Germano and Julianne were both extremely helpful and responsive. And the groundsman, Francisco, is great - give him a few Ariary and ask him to keep you supplied with fresh coconuts from the trees in the garden (or bring you any kind of fruit actually) and he will be very happy to oblige There were also some things not as expected - it's on a road, there's a damp problem in the GF bedrooms, and it's definitely not a private beach. However all of Sainte Marie appears to be on a road, the damp is not a problem if you're less than 6 people, and there's no such thing as a private beach on the island. The unexpected quirks won't be an issue if you're expecting them. If you're considering going, you'll be glad about your decision if you do. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Sainte Marie.

A brilliant place for a mini family break. It was very clean and well kept. Children and adults alike enjoyed it very much, especially the swimming pool.

We had a wonderful stay. Lovely place, I was in awe with all the precious stones and fossils thst was everywhere I'm bedded in the floors and walls. We had another booking at another place but after being blessed with this place, we just came back and stayed 2 more nights..Next time we won't bother to book somewhere else. Friendly staff and super clean. Thank you.

Sophie is a responsive host and very attentive to offer us and share the good places. The house is excellent and matches the photos and has all the amenities. The employees of the house are professional, helpful and help to make pleasant stays.

What a great trip . I really needed some sun a pool and a beautiful environment and Casa Enza delivered on all front. What a view out over the Indian Ocean! And the infinity pool just footsteps from the door and I had everything to myself. I travelled for two weeks in March, technically off season but still 30 degrees every day. Very few tourists around too so really a great time to travel if you can. Maurizio was a really attentive host despite being thousands of miles away in Italy. He speaks excellent English. I had to work London hours during the week (nosy is 3 hours ahead) so good internet was essential and This place had just installed a new system which full delivered. Also Assany, a local guy. Was on hand to help as well as looking after the pool and the garden. Fantastic trip, I can’t fault it.

Super quiet place, access by boat to the house is without difficulty day or night. Thanks to the rowers! The pool slide and top notch. A family of lemurs will visit you every morning. Don't forget to buy a few bananas for them. Eric and his team are attentive and very responsive. Great stay.

A pure corner of paradise on this dream island, slightly off the beaten track of the island, for family vacations it's ideal!

A big thank you to our host Hortense , and its staff. Very nice house, clean, with a magnificent view, a very well maintained exterior. Keeper and maid , available, discreet and very kind . Restaurants ,gargottes and small shops nearby ( 5 min walk for the nearest , 30 min for the furthest) I highly recommend it, we had a great time with the family.

Wonderful stay at Ann-Sol and Loïc's house which exceeded all our expectations! A real paradise.

We had a very nice 8-day vacation! The place is beautiful and very peaceful. Jacquess and his wife Angele and their family are very sweet. During your stay, they live out behind the house, and are always around and ready to help. We became great friends. The place is far away from the city and any supermarket, and it is difficult to go out shopping and cooking yourself. We just decided to let Angele cook all our meals and we were not disappointed. Angele cooks simple yet delicious meals, with fresh fish, scrimp and fruit. We just relaxed all day and when the food was ready, we went to eat. A little like a B&B. One time we went to the neighbouring hotel, which has a restaurant. You will of course pay for the food and Angele's cooking, but not restaurant prices. It's a big advantage if you speak French or Malagasy to communicate. We used a local guide Frido Be for an island tour and also Blue Wave Diving, to go Scuba Diving. Btw, there is only saltwater in the bathrooms and shower.
