If you stay in this century-old house of Maimará, with the beautiful landscape of the colorful mountains in the background , it was an unforgettable experience. Not to mention the presence of the Sheep and Llamas in the backyard , which delighted the children ! Very cool ! The house is huge, old, don't expect luxury. But authenticity and a unique experience. It accommodates well families with children . We went in 10 people, 6 adults and 4 children and we were well installed . The bath is a delight . We cook a lot in the house. Matias, the Host, was very friendly and helpful . In addition to introducing us to the house and telling the story of the place , it gave great tips about the region. No doubt I would return to this paradise in Maimará.

It is a beautiful house, well distributed and very spacious, with a beautiful patio where you can roast or bake something to your liking, and eat outside appreciating a beautiful postcard. The wifi is great, and the other services are great. Maybe I would add a TV and some fans for the hot ones:P. Beatriz is always very attentive to arrival and what might be needed. I come back in August, and it will be there. Thank you !

Excellent days we spend in a beautiful place. Unique view,beautiful . Met our expectations.

It is a large and comfortable house, with a huge land overlooking the entire landscape. It has a cute grill and mud oven over a terrain terrace with an excellent view. It is three blocks away from the Plaza de Uquia and the San Francisco de Paula Church (famous for the pictures of the arcabucer angels taken from Cusco in the colony era) It is also a few blocks from the Quebrada de las Señoritas, where you can take some beautiful hikes, those that we all see in the pictures of the travelers with orange walls that surround you. We had a great time, it's the best place to base and tour all the beautiful places in the NOA ... and then go back to the night and have a beautiful spot to chase and look at the stars while hovering; or spending relaxing days of pleasure. Thank you for everything !!!

Federico a genius, the truth is the best host I had. I have been advising us with extensive audios from a week before advising us to everything. We were more eager to stay there. Maimara has a beautiful view and is very close to all the crow. It is also cheaper than Tilcara and is very close. I highly recommend the village and especially Federico.

Uquía is a small town, nice to visit but with limited options for breakfast and dinner. The location on the mountain front route is beautiful, but the neighboring chacras with their daily work make the rest a little uncomfortable.
