It was an absolutely a fantastic experience.Roma aunty made our stay a memorable one, especially with our 6 month old baby. She was super hospitable and provided what we need for a babys's stay. The breakfast is cherry on the topping, you'll get your tasty breakfast ready on your dining table ontime. I am saying away to praise more about the place, as it may sound like I am boasting about the stay. If you are visiting shillong, this is exactly the kind of place that should stay at.

The property is clean and cozy, and Wanshai made sure we felt completely at home. It comes fully equipped with a fridge, kettle, induction cooktop, room heater, water heater, and utensils. A gas cylinder for cooking is available for an additional charge. Wanshai and his wife also served us a delightful breakfast (chargeable), and a bonfire facility is available for added warmth and enjoyment. The property is conveniently located just 10–15 minutes by car from Police Bazaar. Swiggy and Zomato are serviceable in the area, making it easy to order food. Overall, we highly recommend this property!

Host is friendly and very responsive. I had a pleasant stay. The house had all the necessities.Felt like home.

I had a wonderful stay at Nat cottage in Shillong .The place was exactly as shown in the pictures - clean , cozy & beautifully maintained .The surrounding was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway.The host was helpful and welcoming .I truly appreciated the privacy and comfort the place offered .Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shillong .

Everything was fine , but it’s in remote area , there should be someone which is easily approachable for any help , my mother felt sick , I was clueless like to find nearby area to show and take medicine .Sana is in incognito mode , other guy she gave number, he was like when we call 5 times msged also than he reply around 12 in night , so these was smaller issue apart from that , there were few ants in the villa , which disturbed a lot while sleeping ! At last thanking Sana for accessing this property and Mrinmoy for his extended support!

Stella, Bella, Caesar and Roxy will welcome home with their most adorable voice. The morning bulbul’s promising tweet was never a miss . Anne would shower care along with lovingly made breakfast. Something so special about the entire experience. My sincere thanks and gratitude for a peaceful stay.

Good place for a short stay. Everything looks like the pics, it was spick and span, heater and geyser are available, there is a restaurant opposite. The kitchen is well appointed. Only drawback for me was the height of the bedroom ceiling upstairs. The low ceiling made sitting up in bed impossible,also had to bend down just to get onto the upper level. Batista is very helpful and recommended a great driver as well.He was also helpful in making guide arrangements for Mawphlang sacred grove and the David Scott trail. Be aware that Mawphlang in general seems very cold compared to the rest of Meghalaya, in my experience, as we visited Shillong,Sohra,Shnongpdeng etc all of which were much warmer. It was 7 degrees at night in Mawphlang and we visited in March,which I think is summer for Meghalaya.We struggled with the cold and were thankful we were there only for a night.

La monte inn is a really beautiful place and it is as good as mentioned in the listing. The host Jeremy and the entire staff was really friendly and took great care of us. The place is very tastefully designed and the outdoor area is absolutely breathtaking, specially the restuarant area. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend this place for others to stay.
