During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

The Garden Room

The Garden Room is our wee sleepout that overlooks our peaceful garden, which can be appreciated during all seasons of the year. Conveniently located just off the highway, with plenty of quiet street parking. It’s only about a 5min walk to Countdown/Warehouse, a 15min walk from downtown, & about 10 to the botanical gardens & hospital. The kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, kettle, hot plate, and air fryer/electric oven. You will likely meet our friendly cat, Murphy! X2 bikes if requested

For those who fancy a luxury escape; Stargaze the Milky Way from your own luxury outdoor bath, then come inside to a toasty warm fire. Enjoy the comfort of a king size bed with luxury linen, looking directly through to the lake and mountains beyond. In the bathroom, relax in our freestanding bath or enjoy a rain shower for two. Enjoy this fully self-contained apartment (50㎡ + deck) with breathtaking views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. Perfect for a couple, it features a NZ King (167cmx203cm) bedroom separate from the open-plan kitchen and dining area. The space is ideally suited for two, but we’re happy to accommodate a third guest using the sofa bed in the living room. As well as the basics to make you feel more than at home, we are also able to cater for your most loved pet providing they can sleep outside. There is lots to see and do, Ollie the horse loves carrots, the cats may come and visit, calves need patting and at times we have sheep and lambs to play with. We offer breakfast when stays are for a minimum of two nights
