Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Malpais

We were very warmly welcomed by Stefano, the owner and builder of the premises! Stefano is a love, he took great care of us! He even washed our laundry for us, and that's to say ... we had a lot! 😅 Her house, entirely made of her hands, is original, full of surprises, like Stefano 🥰 The description is perfect, you can go there without a second thought! The place is even better than in the photo! Very clean, very well-equipped... sleeping screens, one house that smells good .... We had a great stay with our 20-month-old baby who had a blast in the pretty little pool and who could see monkeys in the trees above the house! 🐒

Really enjoyed our stay at Lucia and Nicola, awesome meeting our hosts too who were very kind and helpful. The accomodation is located in a beautiful spot, there are walks starting from the property and it is at walking distance (uphill) from delicious restaurants, beautiful beach and the Montezuma waterfall. Very chill and friendly atmosphere !

The house is even more beautiful than what you see in the photos, it is spacious and beautiful like a fairytale! If you go by car it is better to go on the side of the gas station but if you enter well. Rolando was a kind and cooperative person to the fullest! If there were more stars I would earn all of them! He supported us with a topic that we had to fix and made it as the most championship! Wow thanks for that beautiful character.

It was my second time in Costa Rica, and by far the best. Isabella made it so easy to get everything set up for the stay and then Mauricio met us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of everything. I have never seen a view so spectacular in my life!I am so glad I chose Mal Pais over Santa Teresa.

Incredible home. There are no words to describe how much we enjoyed it. This is one of the coziest and prettiest places we have stayed in Santa Teresa. You can walk to the beach on an almost entirely private path and the house itself has everything you'd need. Located in the best area of Santa Teresa it is easy to get around. We saw monkeys and toucans from the terrace, which was great. Don't hesitate or doubt this, it is a perfect place for both a short or long term stay.

Stunning house with stunning views! The house isn’t easy to find with the instructions provided but it helped that Dave was responsive and stayed on the phone with us until we found the house. Once inside, we had everything we needed with stunning views all around. Dave provided lots of recommendations on places to go and things to do. Always quick to respond. We can’t wait to book again!

Beautiful property, stunning sea view, very calm and relaxing

Lynn was a amazing host, super responsive and available. Amazing house, best part was being immersed in nature. The Congos were the alarm clocks in the morning. If you love nature, this is the place for you.

It is a very safe place, close to the beaches, it has the necessary amenities to be with the family or as a couple. Everything was very clean and the person in charge was very friendly with everything.

The gentleman and the lady who took care of us were attentive and kind.

Great spot to stay in Samara, brand new and very well set up for to make your stay comfortable. Would recommend staying here, will stay here again when we come back.

Gorgeous gardens for indoor/outdoor living. Beautiful outside dining room and shower. Nice kitchen, well equipped, stocked, and designed. This place was paradise for us: walkable to the beach, Cabo Blanco, market, playground, cafes and small restaurants. Cabuya is a quiet village and this lovely place provides a peaceful nest from which to explore at a slower pace.

Really nice spot for short stays. Not a large space but comfortable, clean, and well equipped kitchen. Nice beach within 5 minute walk and very short drive to small town that had everything. Washer and lots of hanging lines in backyard. Maria, the property manager, lives next door and she was so helpful and just so nice.

Feeling Trees is wonderful. Diego and his wife are wonderful and helped us book trips and gave recommendations. This place is so clean and private. The outdoor shower is so awesome and unlimited hot water. The kitchen has everything you need including delicious Costa Rican coffee. Lots of wildlife and birds. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, along with the common area and wonderful pool. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back soon!

Jose was a great host! He was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations! His house is a beautiful jungle paradise that was peaceful and had everything we needed. He even provided us with a nice gift basket and fresh chicken eggs! This was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica by far!

Good value for money: nice location in Cabuya close to the park, Montezuma, and many nice beaches. Good coffeeshop around the corner. Nice patio and yard to dine with mango trees. Amenities are somewhat basic, but all necessities are there, so this fit us fine. Upstair bedroom has no bathroom access. Marla was responsive throughout.

A very nice place and an excellent service
