Holiday rentals in Manjumala

We had an amazing time at this peaceful homestay. It was truly as described, surrounded by beautiful nature. We were well looked after by our caretakers Arun, Shinto and Ajith. This felt like a real added luxury. They catered to our every need, including organising a car and tour of Vagamon. Special thanks to Arun for sourcing some jackfruit for us and his mum for making a delicious jackfruit vegetable dish! Our 10-month old was gobbling it up straight from the serving bowl! The pool was inviting and refreshing, also naturally shaded by some trees which was perfect for the kids. Minor point but there was no high chair- these were surprisingly hard to come by generally during our travels in Kerala! There were also a fair few mosquitoes so would recommend good repellent, the homestay did provide a couple of plug in ones, but probably need more and some coils for outdoors as well. All in all a lovely stay and very memorable experience, thanks for hosting us.

Our stay at Santhosh and his wife’s rental house in Kumily was truly delightful. From the warm and welcoming hospitality to the immaculate and spacious interiors, everything exceeded expectations. The house boasts large, well-maintained rooms with spotless bathrooms and a reliable supply of warm water. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, featuring excellent facilities, including extra purified drinking water. Ample extra beds ensured maximum comfort, and the round-the-clock assistance made our stay hassle-free. Whether for a short visit or an extended stay, this house offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Spacious, very well-equipped, exceptionally comfortable and clean property, conveniently located for accessing and exploring Cherpunkal, Pala and surrounding areas. The house is just a few metres from the busy Pala-Ettumanoor road, yet it's tucked away in a quiet place, and is quite peaceful. There are several good eateries and supermarkets within walking distance -- there's even a shopping arcade nearby. The house looks better than in the photos -- all bedrooms have en-suite facilities and each floor has it's own large living and dining areas. Plus, there's ample car parking space. Mr. Saju and Melvin are wonderful hosts, who receive you personally when you arrive, and are always ready to help. Me and my family had a wonderful week-long stay here, and the next time we are in the area, we'll certainly look to return!!

I had a wonderful one-night stay with family at this property! The place is new, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The large room, spacious hall, balcony, and bathrooms made our stay extra comfortable and relaxing. Its location is perfect—right near Kuttikanam town and conveniently situated on the main road. Though it was a short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

The Planter''s Foyer is in a magical place, Kamballikad. It is the result of friends and families coming together under the shared vision of natural building and nature based living. The architectural touches are just divine, from the use of natural materials like stone, wood and reclaimed stuff, to antique pieces and soulful stuff dotting everything - it is quite something- a class apart from the average concrete monstrosity put together usually in Kerala. We booked for two days and stayed on location the whole time. Making walks to find sunrise and sunset spots, to being served meals three times a day by the caretaker Shijo- which had its highlights: Idiappam, the pork curry, among many things. I loved the skylight in the bathrooms, the shade for the lamps, the wooden boxes for all electrical fixtures. The last stretch to the location is a task for the unseasoned driver, the cllimb is very steep and I struggled, but we could have utilised the caretaker's offer to drive up

My family and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at Genesis during the Christmas break, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The property is exceptionally spacious, with a clean, clutter-free design that made it feel incredibly welcoming and relaxing. The open layout allowed us to move around freely, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. Our kids particularly loved the generous size of the rooms, giving them plenty of space to play and unwind. The beds were comfortable, and the modern amenities throughout the property ensured a cozy and convenient stay. We also appreciated how well-maintained everything was, from the fully equipped kitchen to the beautifully kept bathrooms. The location was ideal for a family getaway, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Genesis to anyone looking for a spacious and comfortable retreat. It was a memorable holiday.

First of all I would like to thank Jinu and her family for providing such a good hospitality. They were too friendly, felt like a family. The stay was amazing, didn't felt any difficulty. Kids enjoyed a lot roaming around the property, playing and swimming in the pool. If someone need privacy and peace, then this the place you're looking for. I will definitely visit that place once again.

A beautifully curated space, we absolutely loved it! Oshin and her dad were really helpful from the start, showing us around the space and even dropping us back to town the next morning after checkout. We’ll definitely come back again!
