Beach house holiday rentals in Manly Beach

We stayed over a weekend with our two children and some friends. It was torrentially raining for the first 24 hours which was bad luck and made the journey a bit trickier with cancelled ferries but we made it and the sun came out for us and we had a lovely weekend in the incredible surroundings of Mackerel Beach. It’s such a peaceful and magical spot. Relatively close to Sydney but it feels like you’re so far away when you wake up there. Claudia and Richard gave us detailed and clear instructions which made the logistics so much easier. The kids loved the cricket kit and beach equipment. We all appreciated the kitchen set up as we all like to cook. Eating out on the deck was really special. Will definitely be back to Mackerel beach.

Our party of 5 including grandparents and 2 yr old son had a lovely stay at Michelle's. we stayed for 4 nights and spent the mornings at the beach which is just around the corner and lazy afternoons in the pool. The garden and house are well maintained and very cosy for a family trip away. I'd recommend stocking up on food as there are currently no shops/cafes at Pearl beach, but it was handy having a coffee cart turn up next door in the mornings. Even though there is construction building next door, my 2 year old son loved watching the machines and was disappointed when they weren't working on the weekend！Thanks again for sharing your home with us Michelle, we will be back！

As always, Alison's place didn't disappoint. Beautiful house, grand deck, thoughtful inclusions and a view to die for. Can we give it 6 stars? Looking forward to vacation #5!!

What a wonderful week at Patonga. Margaret's place was just perfect for our post Christmas family relaxation. The view across to Palm beach is spectacular and the coming and goings of the boats was very entertaining. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. We loved the proximity of the water, just a hop skip and a jump. Having the pub and restaurant stumbling distance away was also very handy. Patonga has a lovely village feel and Margaret was a perfect host.

Perfect home for 4 couples. Everything you could need is there. The house is freshly painted and bathrooms recently renovated. This was the most lovely place to celebrate my milestone birthday with the family and bringing our fur baby was a bonus.

Barbs place is in a great location, and is true to the listing. It's cosy and comfortable, but not overly large in terms of living space. That said it has great access to the bush, the ocean and has a nice view and nice small backyard.

We had a really lovely family weekend away at this beautiful house. It was comfortable, clean and very relaxing. Beautifully presented home with so many areas to chill. Great kitchen and deck area. Beds super comfortable and bathrooms clean and sparkling. Views also amazing. Awesome spot and excellent weekend. Thanks to Peter as we very much needed a peaceful family getaway.

Very good and peaceful place

My stay at this property was nothing short of incredible! The house itself is beautifully designed, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The highlight without a doubt, was the pool. Crystal clear with pool noodles provided and the outdoor area was spacious with loungers and a BBQ. Inside, the house was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to prepare meals and the living space is comfortable and relaxing. The water pressure in the shower is strong and heats up quickly. The beds are comfortable and the towels provided were huge and fluffy and there was lots of them. The location was fantastic—peaceful, private & close to beaches. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. They had a wonderful welcome pack in the fridge with awesome jams, chocolates and sparkling water. If you're looking for a dream getaway this is the place to be. Thank you Jess and Jonas

Great place- lovely spot, epic views, and location was amazing. Beautifully decorated and great pool and outdoor area. Struggled slightly with noise from the road at night- which although not busy during day felt quite noisy at night, so take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Also didn’t feel as private as we thought, as the flat downstairs felt part of the property. The hosts were staying when we arrived and were really lovely and helpful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we loved freshwater and are very grateful to have found your place.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. G’s home had everything we needed and we loved the pool and outdoor patio. It was so nice being in walking distance of a cafe and just a short drive to shopping centers and the beach. Would highly recommend staying here!

Luke’s place was lovely. Amazing view. Great bathroom. Lots of room. Luke was responsive to messages, helpful and greeted us on arrival. The pool was lovely, bbq each night in such a nice atmosphere. Loved sitting on balcony watching the water, birds and the general peace. Want to go back ASAP

Very helpful & accommodating. Thank you Hilde for the little things you did for us to accommodate our family holiday. A travel cot, change table and high chair for our 11 month old saved car space for our two little dogs to bring along. Very peaceful in a great location with loads in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Fantastic host and property. Location amazing. Would highly recommend to all looking for a getaway just outside of Sydney City. House is on the doorstep of the beautiful Royal National Park.

A wonderful, spacious home for the weekend! We loved the neighbourhood, local park, beaches, and cafe at the top of the road. Grace was so kind to leave a few essential supplies including coffee vouchers for the local cafe. The bedrooms were a little warm (we are from Tasmania, so not used to 30+ degree weather) but the ceiling fans helped. The main level has air con and we stayed cool at the beach. Cronulla is a nice area. We would love to come back and explore more. Thanks for everything!!

Megan’s home was beautiful. The flow from inside to outside is stunning. The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area overlooks the deck and garden through huge folding doors… lovely for meals together. Location was amazing Stroll to beach and shops Hot and cold outdoor shower was a bonus! The flat out the back was perfect for my Dad. Everything he could need. The hosts are warm and welcoming offering their home generously. Honestly, phots do not do it justice… Upon turning up at front gate- their home was absolutely beautiful. Would dearly love to stay again.

Brent’s place was the perfect venue for a family getaway. It’s just minutes from gorgeous Pearl Beach and the Arboretum which was really special. The kitchen and living areas are well-appointed with games, and even a high chair for the littles. We would highly recommend this place for an easy breezy beach holiday!

we had an excellent stay at this property and found it exactly as described. The outside sitting area received sunshine all day long and it was quiet and peaceful at night. We met several neighbours who were very friendly and helpful. 8/10 minute walk to local shops, bars and bus stop and 15/20 minute walk to Coogee centre and beach. Excellent communication and fast response from Angela our hostel.. Would definitely recommend to others and not hesitate to use again ourselfs. Many thanks for our stay.. Ian, Jan & Nora. 👍

My friends and I loved our stay! The home was so beautiful, clean, and a wonderful location. You’re right next to the beach and all the shops in Manly are a close walk! The parking spot was awesome and the whole house felt super private. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay in Manly for a big group!

Stayed at the house over Christmas and New Year. Expensive as everywhere is in Sydney at this time but we loved the location and property was ideal for us. Walkable or a short drive to local shops for food and lovely breakfast or lunches. Short drive to Harris Farm shop Manly. Early morning swim in the sea before breakfast, walks to North Curl Curl, Manly or on one day to Spit bridge. Walk to Manly to catch a special New Year’s Eve ferry to see the Sydney fireworks. Perfect! We would recommend or stay again on our next visit to Australia.
