Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

This special place is close to everything, Walking distance. At the same time, you have the car outside the bedroom. The guest rents the entire house with its own entrance and lives there alone. Bedroom with double bed and two beds that fold out of the sofa. Thick bed mattress. Family with more children can contact the host. Guest cleans at check-out. Bed linen is available, but for a 24-hour rental, we expect the guest to bring their own. Otherwise, it costs SEK 100 per bed. Paid directly to the host. Cleaning can be arranged for SEK 400. Welcome to Kvarnens mini-retreat! On a part of the cultural road called Vallevägen, you will find the charming mill building from 1929. Here you will fall asleep well to the babbling of the stream outside Kvarnen. In the area, there are hiking trails with waterfalls, caves and swimming lakes as well as a lot of art galleries and proximity to discover most cozy towns and nature reserves. Breakfast with home-grown, home-baked and locally-produced food can be purchased on selected occasions, please ask.

Welcome to a lovely home for up to 4 people who enjoy life. Fantastic sunsets! The cottage is modern and fresh. Living room and kitchen are combined. 2 beds in sofa bed. The dining area is a higher "bar table" with high chairs for lake views. A walk along the lovely promenade is not to be missed. The area is one of Sweden's most popular destinations when it comes to excursion opportunities. The cottage is best suited for a couple looking for relaxation or maybe a family with small children.

Newly-equipped house with its own bay and rowboat

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

Welcome to our cozy guesthouse on a serene island in the Tidan River, Sweden, with easy road access. Just 25 minutes from Skövde (1h by train to Gothenburg) and Mariestad, it’s perfectly placed for exploring Sweden’s biggest lake, Vänern, and Billingen, a UNESCO Global Geopark offering great skiing in winter. Enjoy birdwatching at Lake Östen on the bird towers near by, stroll through our garden, or unwind in the yoga cottage by the water. The forests nearby offer berries and mushrooms.

Cosy, spacious and luminous house in Mariestad. Located in Kinnekulle, a really nice area in Sweden, known because of its nature and beaches beside Vänern, one of the biggest lakes in Europe. We have a pretty garden where the bees and butterflies love to fly around. Perfect for children and family reunions, guests interested in staying near nature but still in contact with the civilisation ;) Your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located place!

Mariestad

family-friendly semi-detached house about 1.5 km from Mariestad city center. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms. 1 double bed and 3 90 cm beds are distributed in the bedrooms. Downstairs, there is another bedroom with 1 90 cm bed. So in total there are 4 bedrooms with 5 beds. Outside there is a barbecue, hot tub, trampoline, swings and a few other things for the children. Rural torp idyll

Here there is peace and quiet, in surroundings that seem to come from an Astrid Lindgren fairy tale. You live next door to fields, forests and pastures, at the foot of Kinnekulle. The cottage is directly adjacent to the Vänerleden and 1.5 km away connects to the Biosfärleden. Proximity to Kinnekulle's hiking trails, mountain bike tracks and cultural attractions. Both Skara Sommarland and Läckö Castle are within a few miles.

Quiet, cosy cottage in central Säffle

We have a little cottage in our garden, situated near the centre of the town Säffle. There are two beds, a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, two stove plates and microwave if you want to cook on your own, and newly rebuilt bathroom with shower. See pictures. The surroundings are nice, close to shopping and strolling along the river Byälven. You find lake Vänern in 6km distance, where you summertime can take a bath.
