Book this place! Everything was so nice spacious and clean! The host is super sweet and helpful. Any questions she responded quickly. Place as pictured. We will definitely book again!

Audrey and her husband were awesome hosts! I was not sure how long we needed to stay and when our reservation ran out we were able to stay without any interuption until we were able to close on our home. They allowed us to park our Uhaul on site (a big deal!) which saved us time trying to find storage. The day after we arrived, they came over to meet us and tell us about the area. The cottage was clean, equipped and safe. The antique furnishings in the cottage are fabulous...i cant imagine the stories they have to tell! The wildlife is abundant along with the farm life; cattle, geese, chickens, cats, fish, etc. You'll never have a dull moment at the Ranch Hand Cottage! We were blessed to have 2 new calfs born while we were there. If you want to get out of the city or share the country with your city friends, this is THE place! Poplarville is such a cute town, like a step back in time. I will be recommending Audrey and her cottage to anyone that wants to stay in the area.

Easter weekend was not our first booking at this perfect location and will certainly not be our last. My two and a half year old grandson loves the huge yard where he plays with his bubble machines, visits the pond, or just runs around the gently rolling front yard. there is so much to see and do at this home. Maybe your visit will line up with the hatching birds in the nest hidden in the front door wreath!!!

If you are looking for quiet, peaceful, and super private then this is your go to place. The house was comfortable and the amenities were excellent. 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in some time off and a place to relax.

Terri's place exceeded our expectations. She was gracious and kind. The home felt familiar and comfortable, like that of family. You could feel the warmth and love of memories made over generations in this farmhouse. Everything was clean, well arranged and organized. This rental hits the spot if you're looking for a peaceful, serene, secluded farmhouse with everything to bring a family together. Thank you, Terri!

Place was very nice, will be trying to stay there again if we ever return to the area! I will say, the cabins need to be numbered. It was somewhat difficult to figure out which one we were staying at out of the 4 cabins on the property, and they all look very similar. So much nicer than staying in a hotel & potentially getting burglarized, you park directly under or right next to the cabin, so I feel like it’s very secure & tucked back away from the business of the highway.

There’s a lot of heart in this place, and you can feel it. One of the most special moments for me was watching my son’s black lab enjoy the creek. I lost my son in 2020, and seeing her so happy brought a little light to my heart. Everything was thoughtfully prepared—clear instructions, no need to reach out for anything. Laura had it all taken care of. I’m already looking forward to coming back for another soul-soothing getaway close to home.

I thought this place was better than what I expected. The space in the house and the location were awesome. I loved that I could look outside at nature through the kitchen window and that it felt private. All of us felt right at home. We were there on a very fast paced work trip for a worship music video and we were so exhausted by the end of the day. Being able to get back to such a clean and comfortable space really made the difference for our rest. 😊 I would definitely love to come back with my family at some point in the future for leisure. We stayed here for a girls trip. We had plenty of room and loved the seclusion of the property. The house is great with everything you will need to make your stay wonderful. We really liked the outdoorsy decor and felt like we were in the mountains. We will be back to enjoy during the warmer months. Thank you for a great place to relax and have fun.
