“Beautiful apartment and a sophisticated place far from the inconvenience of the center of the country and Captain Hani and his sister very helpful and watchful”
My place is close to restaurants and dining and family-friendly activities. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
“Ahmed is an amazing host. He is very knowledgeable about all of Cairo. There was a bit of trouble getting from the airport, as he informed me that he would be unable to shuttle me two days before I landed. Once I arrived at the apartment, though, everything was smooth sailing and he provided me with a tour of the entire area. Ahmed was always there to help whether it was with directions or ordering food. Just note if you’re sensitive to smoke: Ahmed doesn’t smoke, but another guest arrived for part of my stay and although he only smoked in his room, the smoke spread throughout the apartment. Other than that, a great stay. Felt like I was living alone most of the time. Thank you for your great hospitality and honesty, Ahmed. I will definitely see you again in Cairo! Cheers”

“Magda is truly a super host! First off, my husband and I flew into Cairo on the absolute worst day we could have, first day of the big rain storm and flooding (March 2020)... Magda’s place is really close to the airport so we cancelled our other Airbnb and stayed with her because getting around Cairo in a flood takes hours and hours... It took a long time to find a taxi and Magda waited up for us and also sent instructions on how to get to her place in Arabic to show the driver since we are American and don’t speak Arabic. She also spoke to the driver on the phone to make sure we got to the correct door and met us downstairs to usher us up to her place. Magda was such a great hostess! She fed us upon arrival and as luck would have it, we lost power due to the flooding so we had no internet and our phones don’t work in Egypt unless we had WiFi so she let us use her hotspot on her phone as we were desperately needing to change our flight out of Egypt as the situation there was much worse than we expected and with the US closing borders and traveling getting more scary due to the COVID-19. Magda’s husband and son were so sweet as well! We met them the next day as Magda again, had a warm home-cooked meal for us :) Hung out and learned a lot about their culture and them as amazing humans :) HIGHLY recommend staying with Magda!! She went out of her way to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and able to do what we needed to do to get home.”
