Charming quiet clifftop cottage, relax by the sea!

Fisherman's clifftop cottage built around 1890, original beams and wood-burning stove make a cosy retreat. Accommodation is on ground floor: open plan living room and kitchen provide sociable space, bedroom, shower room, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV. Private car parking for one car. The village bay is a sheltered spot to relax, listen to sea; or walk along the clifftop path to beautiful golden sands and Cruden Bay Golf course. Shops, pubs, services 3 miles. Peterhead 17 minutes, Aberdeen 30 minutes.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

Bell View Cottage

This unique place has a style all its own. Small but open space detached cottage in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Gardenstown. Bell View offers a quiet get away in a comfortable space only newly renovated in 2023/24. All your home comforts under one roof. One double room with the option of another double within the front room if 4 guests were to stay. A modern kitchen and shower room. Tv, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher and even a small garden also provided within this space.

The Den

The Den is a stunning stone built 1 bedroom cottage finished and furnished to the highest standard offering a very comfortable stay for our guests. Set in a quiet rural location and within easy reach of Aberdeenshire’s many attractions makes it the perfect location for your getaway. The open plan kitchen / diner has a fully fitted modern kitchen. A full size single bed can also be added to the large bedroom to accommodate 3 guests. There is outside seating and patio area.

Puffin Cottage 21 Pennan

Puffin Cottage is a cosy former fisherman's cottage full of original features and character, with open fire, original wood panel walls and ceiling beams. The cottage it is nestled rests at the foot of grass-covered cliffs with the sea just yards away in the village of Pennan, made famous by the film Local Hero. Spacious ground floor flat with private entrance and self check in. The Macdonalds woods are right outside the front door providing gorgeous views. A 2 minutes drive to Ellon centre or take a lovely short walk through the woods. Family friendly, we provide a huge selection of products for travelling with kids, travel cot etc. Ten minutes walk to BrewDog. Lock box is right at the door with the keys, the code will be sent the day before check in.

The East Wing, Craigdam

Welcome to our secluded stay between Tarves and Oldmeldrum. Cosy room with plenty of outside space to enjoy. the room has tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge. Also provided is continental breakfast. Although this is listed as a private room as it is part of our home, it is separate from the rest of the house with its own bathroom and front door.

Rockpool Cottage - Cosy Old Fisherman's Cottage

Rockpool is a 200 year old fisherman's cottage, set back a few yards from the seafront, with sea views from the front door. It provides all modern comforts, whilst retaining its traditional features. The wood burning stove together with the Rayburn, ensure the cottage is warm and cosy all year round! En-suite bathroom and cloakroom.

Self contained farm bothy set 4 miles from the sea in a rural farm setting. Ideal for 2 people with its double room , wet room and sitting room with small kitchenette. There is a bed settee within sitting room for 2 small children or 1 adult. Please note this room has a velux without a blind.
