Villa holiday rentals in Mauritius

Wonderful accommodation. Michael and Stefanie are fantastic and super efficient. Villas are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The pool is just amazing and we loved our evening swims. Brighthelm Villas is located in a great location, close to the beaches (5mins drive) and supermarkets (5mins drive). You do need a car to get around but the team at Brighthelm Villas can assist. All in all we had a really good relaxed trip and highly recommend Brighthelm Villas.

Amazing house which looks even better than in the pictures! Plenty of space for everyone, and with all the amenities you should need. Very friendly staff came by to clean and have a little chat every morning. Would love to come back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Khemal's place. Very nice pool surrounded with plants. Large parking space and electric gate with remote, quiet neighborhood. Close to popular beaches in the north. Highly recommend!

Great clean place to stay with a very lovely house and pool. All rooms have air-conditioning and with the extreme heat, this helped a lot. , Our host Linlay was absolutely wonderful and helpful. I will recommend this to everyone. Looking forward to book again next year.

We discovered this little gem by pure chance and it is not only picture perfect but authentic and comfortable . We have stayed in different parts of the island and we can confirm that Pointe d’Esny is by far the most beautiful beach in Mauritius with its fine white sand and pristine turquoise waters. Snorkeling in the sea right in front of the bungalow is like swimming in a huge aquarium. Corals are healthy and tropical fish more abundant than in Blue Bay Marine park . However we would recommend to swim at high tide when you can go anywhere without damaging the corals . If you do not like to snorkel, there is a small almost private beach with no corals at 200 metres to the right hand side of the property. Brigitte was very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant tips and we tried Smita’s cooking which is so yummy. We wished we stayed longer but we will come back .

An absolutely perfect stay! The space is even better than the photos: spacious, tastefully decorated and incredibly clean. We were warmly welcomed by our host, who took the time to give us valuable tips on activities and good places nearby. The location is ideal, close to a must-see place, while remaining very quiet. Every detail has been designed to make you feel at home: comfortable bedding, perfectly equipped kitchen, and even small touches like coffee or local products. A huge thank you to our host for their hospitality and availability. We recommend this place 100% and hope to have the opportunity to come back soon!

Valène is up there with the best hosts of Airbnb’s. Very responsive, friendly and welcoming. She even arranged for the fridge to be full and an affordable car rent. The place it self is absolutely perfect, especially with small kids. We had a very enjoyable and calm week. Would definitely recommend

A wonderful stay. The villa has spectacular views to the north and the layout for indoor/outdoor relaxation is fantastic. A lovely pool that gets north sun so is warm even in Mauritius 'winters'. Daily cleans from Pooga worked well - I was alone so never availed myself of any of her cooking which I gather is also an option. The place is near 'everything' - the best restaurant in the country is 20 mins away and there are tons of options 5-15 mins away. Groceries are as little as 5 mins away, 12 tops. Nice spa is also only 5 minutes away. Sunsets are glorious every night. Looking forward to another visit!

Our stay at Regine’s and Marina’s place was beyond our expectations! We were pleasantly surprised how good the location of this accommodation is. The house is beautiful and has a private access to the beach with great snorkeling! Marina and Regine provided us all the information that we found very useful and helpful! We cannot recommend this accommodation enough and it was our pleasure to be their guests. If you are planning coming to Mauricius you should definitely consider booking this place, because our experience was perfect!:) Thank you Marina and Regina for everything.

We were blown away by the beauty of the villa when we arrived. It is the perfect balance of luxury & home, without feeling like you have invaded someone else's space. The staff were great at keeping the place tip top, and we enjoyed some gorgeous mauritian cuisine prepared. The garden and pool are a stunning place to enjoy the Mauritian sunshine. Whole heartedly recommended!

Pascale and Etienne are great hosts and very responsive and understanding. We had a wonderful time at their beautiful villa. It was peaceful and the view was stunning, especially watching the sunset under the gazebo. Will definitely return someday!

Very beautiful villa in a good location in the north of the island close to the coast. Very well maintained house, very pleasant for a group stay, well arranged. We were a family of 8 with children and enjoyed the outdoor space organized around the pool. The cleaning lady is very attentive and makes very nice folding of towels to welcome us. The house is in a very nice secure private residence.

We had a great time, Hasanah is very responsive and very professional, the accommodation is in perfect condition with all the necessary amenities. We'll definitely be back. Close to all shops, easy to access, the place is quiet and secure. Thanks again

Beautiful house with a very good layout and very well-equipped. We enjoyed the welcome and communication with the Kentish and Anisha. And the pool....so beautiful and nice! A car is essential, the house is well located 5 minutes from the sea by car and also for the supermarket. A house under construction is next door, if you visit the island and leave early enough around 9am you will not be disturbed. The house is very well secured. We'll be back!!!!

We had an incredible stay at Andy’s beautiful house in Mauritius! The location is absolutely perfect—private, peaceful, and surrounded by a stunning garden with a beautiful pool. The place itself exceeded our expectations; it looks even better in real life than in the pictures! It was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also super convenient for reaching the beaches and exploring the area. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

Nienke is very responsive and will message to check in and make sure everything is going well. The place is huge, quiet, private with stunning views. I highly recommend if you are looking to spend a few nights in a quiet location in a safe neighbourhood. Access to the beach is not a walking distance though but would be ideal if you had your own transportation. Good access to the restaurants. I highly recommend this place. The villa is modern, very clean and perfectly true to description. Everything is new and functional (WiFi, air conditioning, fridge, washing machine...). It is located about 1h15 by car from the airport. Stef was flexible on the check-in time, and the checkout was done without formalities. The apartment is close to the supermarket and a few restaurants, however as everywhere in Mauritius a car is highly recommended in order to access the beautiful beaches of Le Morne and the South of the island, the hikes of Gorges Noires and Le Morne, in Grand Bassin, or simply to shop or discover new restaurants. Many other activities are possible according to everyone's tastes. A tip because it's hot: get up very early in the morning to enjoy the coolness and for sports activities, take a nap in the middle of the day and enjoy the end of the day to go to the beach or cool off in the pool!

We are a family that just stayed 10 nights in Violaines beautiful house. The house is perfect for families with a beautiful mountain view from the pool. There are several good restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries within a few minutes walk. We did not have a car and the house and its location met all our needs. Very family friendy house with lots of toys and everything you need for babies.

Everything was good. We really enjoyed our time in this house.

Charle’s place was everything we wished for. He was the best host, always responsive and prepared. He even prepared a big list with everything around the Airbnb so we can have every time we need something. Definitely I will choose it again!!
