Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Upea jokinäköala omalta terassilta. Pysäköintitilaa runsaasti. Mökki kehdessa kerroksessa, alakerrassa keittiö, olohuone, makuualkovi, kylpyhuone ja sauna. Yläkerrassa makuuhuone Very nice view to river Ounas. Parking your car near cottage is possible. There are kitchen, living room, alcove, bathroom and sauna in downstairs of the cabin. Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Voit nauttia vain valmisaterioita. Rannalla tulipaikka/laavu käytössä. Autopaikka pihassa. Talvella jäällä voi kävellä. Lentokentälle 17 km , lähimpään City-markettiin 13 km ja keskustaan 17 km. Majoittaja asuu samassa pihassa. Vieraat saavat liikkua pihalla vapaasti. Naapureiden pihat ovat yksityisiä.

Tunnelmallinen saunamökki (22m²) maaseudulla. Irtaudu arjesta, nauti rauhasta ja mökistä, joka sijaitsee talomme pihapiirissä, kuitenkin täysin omassa rauhassaan. Mukava 160 cm leveä sänky tarjoaa tilaa kahdelle aikuiselle. Lämmitä oma puusauna, rentoudu terassilla tai nuotion ääressä laavulla. Ihaile tähtitaivasta tai revontulia kaukana kaupungin valoista. Talviaamuna voit kävellä kauniilla lumisilla metsäpoluilla, kuunnella luonnon hiljaisuutta ja hengittää raikasta ilmaa.

Northern lights paradise

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

Villa Vasa is located right next to Reindeer Farm Porohaka , so you can easily visit farm and book activities (Dec-Mar).
