Diana went above and beyond as a host—cooking delicious meals from fresh local ingredients, sharing her deep connections with the community, and introducing me to trusted local guides who made exploring the area stress-free. Her home is a peaceful oasis, surrounded by lush farm fields, offering a serene escape from the noise of daily life. The location is perfect, with easy access to Mount Sibayak, the Berastagi fruit market, and nearby towns that are simple to navigate. Diana’s kindness and dedication to her guests made me feel incredibly welcomed and supported throughout my stay. Whether you’re looking for adventure, cultural immersion, or peaceful relaxation, Diana’s home is the perfect base. I highly recommend staying with her for a unique and unforgettable experience in Berastagi.

Mery is a super sweet host. Even after our stay she was very kind as to help us out with some stuff. We did the volcano tour with her husband, who was super funny. The only downside was that Berastagi itself is not such a nice place to be in my opinion, but if you need to be there for visiting the volcano, then for sure I would recommend going to Mery’s!!

Wir hatten Glück, dass wir 2 Nächte die gesamte Unterkunft für uns hatten. Das 2 Bett Zimmer war kaum größer als die Matratze. Das Gemeinschaftszimmer hatte eine Sofa Garnitur und genügend Platz. Es gab auch Stühle für draußen. Das Badezimmer war typisch für Indonesien, schlicht aber sauber. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Aufenthalt.

Very lovely place with lots of love for the details! Daniel and the team took really good care of us and welcomed us with a welcome drink as well as some nice Nasi Goreng for breakfast. The surrounding rice fields are very nice - unfortunately we only stayed one night and could not really participate in any of the activities. Only thing to watch out: The address that is displayed when you click on the map is not correct - use the one entered in the description.

Wir hatten eine ausgesprochen gute Zeit bei Bond. Er ist super freundlich und man kann gut gespräche mit ihm führen. Er ist mega lieb und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns viele tipps gegeben und es war ihm sehr wichtig, dass es uns gut geht. Er ist witzig und humorvoll und wir konnten gut spässe machen. Er hat uns abgeholt und auch zur nächsten unterkunft gebracht. Das zimmer war sauber und das bett bequem. Wir würden wieder kommen.
