Casa Milorca Cottage Suite

The Karoo-style Cottage Suite sleeps two and is tucked away in the pretty gardens behind the main house at Casa Milorca, which was built in 1860 and is situated in one of Prince Albert's prettiest streets in the historic heart of the town. The cottage has a king-size bed with quality white bed linen, and there is an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as a compact lounge and dining area. The kitchenette area has washing up facilities, a toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. There is also a tea and coffee station with home-baked rusks. The Cottage Suite, which has its own private verandah, can also be configured with two single beds instead of a king-size bed. Thanks to air-conditioning the cottage is cool in summer and warm in winter; there is also has a standing fan if that is preferred.

The Olive Thrush Cottage is on a small-holding at the edge of town and offering views of a freshwater dam with lots of bird life. The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. Prince Albert is the prettiest of all Karoo towns. Prince Albert is nestled at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, at the very edge of the Great Karoo.

Kom Kyk Cottage is a charming self-catering cottage in the quiet Karoo village of Merweville. Once an original general store, it’s been lovingly restored with antique furnishings and true Karoo character (although some say it feels like Greece). The cottage sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and offers a fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge, free Wi-Fi, and shaded parking. This fully equipped house, sleeps up to 7 with 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. You may rent it alone or together with the garden cottage.
