Holiday rentals with beach access in Mevagissey

Our second stay in this two story beachside apartment and we extended our trip this time. Perfect for small families wanting a cosy stay with a short walk down to the beach each day to run off energetic little ones. All you need in the space which is well equipped and a peaceful place to be and people watch from the fantastic window spot in the kitchen/sofa space. Owners are lovely and really responsive. We have had two wonderful holidays here. Thank you!

The picture window makes this place just stunning - any time in the apartment we spent just looking out and enjoying the view. The road is quite busy and noisy but the view was definitely worth it. The apartment is really well kitted out with pretty crockery, rugs and throws available, a good collection of kitchen cleaning kit - sponges, washing up liquid, brushes etc. The small size dishwasher was very handy and there was a good selection of pots and pans as well. The bedrooms are smallish, but the main room is so lovely you only sleep in them, so that's fine - good storage in both them and the bathrooms cupboards so clutter is kept at bay. There is parking in the garage (which has a lift so handy for luggage transport) however it has very tight angles and with a big car we only ventured into it once! There is plenty of on street parking on the side road so no big issue - although during the day it is quite busy parking there. Overall a wonderful apartment - oh that window!

Wow! What a find! We had an amazing stay in this lovely little flat which is in the most stunning location looking over Fistral beach. When you wake up in the morning you can pull the curtain back and start your day lying in bed watching surfers catch waves. The flat had everything that we needed for a comfortable and relaxed stay and the stunning sea views were just the icing on the cake. We had an amazing break here and plan to come again in the future.

Very nice place. Not a huge amount around unless you want to drive 10 mins. (Which was what I wanted) Nice beach and beach bar / restaurant a two minute walk.

Matt and Mel were brilliant hosts, very friendly and a like minded couple to ourselves. The apartment was clean and comfortable with views to die for. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a great weeks holiday.

Thank you Jax and Simon - we had a brilliant stay. Absolutely amazing location and views of the beach and cliffs from the house. The house was extremely well taken care of and looked immaculate when we arrived. A great set of sofas made for very comfy evenings when in. Jax and Simon obviously take great pride in the house and the experience - we had everything we needed and they were very responsive and proactive in all communications between us. Thoroughly recommended location, house, and owners.

The property is terrific and located in a particularly lovely part of the world. Easy walk to the beach, easy drive to local amenities, stores, and restaurants (also entirely walkable, though you may have to deal with lots of traffic and roundabouts depending where you are headed). On the couple of occasions when I did reach out to Lizzy and Scott, they responded quickly and completely. Everything in the property was as described or better, especially including the comfortable sun room and the huge back garden. I couldn't have wished for a better experience.

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Halula Beach House for my hen do weekend, it was the perfect pad! Pool, hot tub, silent disco, huge table we could all sit round… and just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful holiday in the perfect location. From Ocean’s Edge, perched above the glorious Smugglers’ cove, the views are outstanding. All necessities are provided plus a welcoming bottle of Prosecco. We look forward to returning!

We had a fantastic stay at Babs and Scott's place which was even more wonderful than than in the photos show! The views from the upstairs balcony are unbeatable with the path to the beach just outside the garden. Babs was very friendly and responsive and very accommodating with check-in too. A wonderful welcome basket and goodies awaited us on arrival and there is plenty by way of food and drink locally you can wander too. We'd absolutely stay here again! The place is described as small but it was plenty spacious for the two of us, our toddler and 3 dogs without feeling cramped. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Ben was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The house is beautiful and in a great location. It’s a lovely, spacious modern house and everything it thought of. We all really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend.

Excellent stay in New Polzeath. Easy access to local amenities. Having stayed in this apartment and other is the block a number of times over many years. Never disappointed! Lovely surroundings, quiet accommodation but only a short walk to Polzeath for surf and lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes good surf and lots of places to eat and drink.

Maritas place was perfect for our short stay in Porthtowen! It’s a beautiful little place with an amazing view of the sea! We let felt at home straight away! The stairs up to the bedroom are very steep so wouldn’t be ideal for less able bodied people but was fine for us and the place had everything we needed! A well stocked kitchen was really nice to have! We spent many evenings out on the balcony eating or playing games in view of the sea as the sun set, which was really special!

Amazing location for exploring the coastal area, everywhere is walkable ! Emily and Matt gave a great list of recommendations for places to eat. Very nice and organised apartment, with everything you could need. The large sofa/window area is great for watching surfers on the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julia’s apartment. A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location overlooking the golf course and beach. The apartment was immaculately clean and tidy, and really nicely laid out, exactly as described. Nice touches like fluffy towels and welcome biscuits - thank you! 🙏 Fistral Beach is stunning and Newquay is full of good restaurants. Free parking overnight in close proximity to the apartment. Julia is a very responsive and communicative host and nothing was a bother. Highly recommended all round.

This was our 3rd stay at Alex & Arlene’s place. It was phenomenal as usual. Fantastic location, decorated to perfection and we love the thoughtful touches. They even remembered we are lactose intolerant and left us some oat milk. Very lovely and communicative hosts. Thanks so much for having us again, Katy, Farzad, Bella 🐾🐶 & Princess Snoopy was surely there in spirit 🐾🐶🌈

Lovely apartment, great views, clean and useable, would recommend

This was my families first time visiting Newquay and we found this amazing place! My family has serious dust allergies and have struggled to stay at most places however this place at Wateredge apartments was wonderful and clean which didn’t cause any problems. Location and views are breathtaking with the beautiful Fristal beach a stones throw away! Would definitely recommend and will be sure to stay here again!!
