Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mid Sussex District

It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

Lovely stay, me and boyfriend was in the area for Tulleys Farm Shocktober festival, and wanted to make the weekend out of it. We did a hike on Saturday which was beautiful and then ended up in the Fox pub which was so warming and casual, then off to the festival later that evening - all in all a very humble weekend. And staying in this lovely home made it even better!

Exactly as expected, and what a lovely room it was. Great hosts, and turned out we had some connections. Perfect location in a town I visit often.

I booked last minute and received a wonderful welcome from Babs :) Her home is beautiful, lovely bedroom , very comfy bed, lovely linen, spotlessly clean, well situated on a quiet residential street , just a block from lively Lewes road which has plenty restaurants/coffeeshops/bars as well as good bus connections ! Babs also provides complimentary tea/coffee , continental breakfast with fruit and yoghurt , which was an unexpected treat, she truly deserves the superhost accolade! I will gladly return in the future and would happily recommend Thanks Babs !!

Orsolya was really helpful in getting us set up in the house. It is definitely their home and it made us feel cosy and at home, too. The sauna was also great!

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Linda was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. I enjoyed my welcome homemade pastry, it was delicious with a cup of tea. Perfect location in a very quiet road with plenty of parking, either on drive or on road outside. I enjoyed my stay and felt very relaxed.

Persephone, was the perfect host, very helpful and made me feel at home, the house was spotless and the room was comfortable and clean, Persephone was so helpful with guidance on how to get to the city the quickest way and how to get around. I would definitely recommend staying with Persephone she is a fabulous host.

Great place to stay for 4 nights. As other reviews have said the place is much bigger and brighter than the photos. I'm a bit OCD on cleanliness and tidyness, I usually have to spend time after arriving anywhere "sorting things out". Not here, everything was immaculate. Very helpful host, convenient location for walks, food etc and well set back from the road with easy parking onsite. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

I was really please to be able to book Alf's B&B at short notice. Having stayed there before, I knew what to expect and I wasn't disappointed. The location is great for both the beach and town, and Bognor is a good place to uses as a hub for visiting the local attractions. I would highly recommend Alf to anyone wishing to stay in Bognor and I look forward hopefully, to staying there again in the future.

I stayed at Terry's place last night before my return flight to Spain. As a support worker, I use hotels/bnb's a lot and after 3 weeks of care work I'm exhausted, so finding somewhere affordable and pleasant to recharge in before flying home, is so important to me. This is an absolute treasure of a find and if I could book it for my needs throughout the year I would. It has everything you need. The bed is super comfortable and Terry and his wife are fabulous hosts. Tesco Extra is a few minutes walk away, although Terry has the place well stocked should you need anything. If only all rentals were this good. Highley recommend for a single person or a couple.

We stayed at the View for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday and as a first holiday with our 5 month old puppy, Peaches. We had a lovely time, the house and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. We went for beautiful walks and bike ride and will recommend to anyone

Fantastic location so close to the beach and pier. A really cosy and interesting flat which was lovely to come back to after a day exploring Brighton. We parked on Madeira Drive for the weekend which wasn’t very expensive and was close by. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay with everything we needed. We appreciated the breakfast food in the morning. Very nice location and a short walk to a beautiful beach stop. Recommended!!

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

Patricia's house is lovely. My two teens and I stayed in three rooms at the top floor. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms very clean. The house has lots of historical features and is nicely decorated. Patricia made sure we had a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cakes and croissant. Polesden Lacey is only a 30-min walk from the house and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for long nice walks. Nice spot for visiting this part of England.

Lovely peaceful, airy room with a very comfortable bed and super shower in the en suite bathroom. Venetia put fresh flowers by the bedside, which was such a nice touch. She also kindly provided us with breakfast early as I was going off to do the local parkrun (also nearby). And the breakfast was great. All in all, this was a perfect overnight stop for us for our visit to the theatre and my Saturday morning run. Highly recommended.

Jill was a fantastic host, so friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was super cosy and spotless and the house was lovely and full of charm. We didn’t manage to explore the immediate surroundings but it was very beautiful on our way to Brighton. Thanks Again Ben

Lovely place , weekend stay right on a farm lots of wildlife from cows sheep horses birds and bats , and not to forget Mac and Bumble the hosts dogs always there to greet you when returning back from a visit out , Host lovely friendly and helpful very relaxed stay did us a treat , Jane even stoked up the stove (fire ) for us , it was a lovely weekend .

Sue is a delightful host who has developed an outstanding venue to stay at and visit. Her Garden Room has been created to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. My wife and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary with a stay here. on arrival we were met with 2 very friendly cats and beautiful surroundings. on entering the converted stables it was just like the photos,the property was clean and cosy. Jonny had left all the details we needed in a message on Airbnb before we arrived including a recommendation for the local pub however we had already booked at the wire mill which was an amazing place overlooking a lake about 20 minutes away. We had a peaceful stay and Jonny and his daughter brought our breakfast as requested in the morning. the breakfast was a combination of granola,sourdough bread,jams,fruit,tea/ coffee which was all delicious which we enjoyed at our table in our room with the stable door open. it was also lovely to see the kids going around the property doing chores to help and enjoying the outdoors. my wife loved the big bath which is one of the reasons I booked to stay here. we would definitely recommend this place.
