The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. Downstairs, there’s a kitchen with essentials and a private bathroom with a toilet and shower. Step outside to your private patio with a bistro set—perfect for morning coffee. Free parking lines the whole road. It’s an 8-min walk to the nearest station, 20 mins to the sea/central Hove. By car, it’s just 5 mins to Hove, 15 to Brighton.

The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket.

A wild camping site offering a private camper van parking space on your own secluded lake at the end of a long track. The camper van in the pictures is not available, this is simply to illustrate. Enjoy staying in the middle of a 70 acre woodland on the edge of a stunning lake with far fetching views. There are no toilets, water or electricity provided on the pitch. Please bring bottled water. However, there is a communal toilet/warm shower block within a 10 minute walk of this pitch.

My place is close to Ashdown Forest and half hour drive to Glyndborne Opera House. Sussex Coast is within easy reach. Royal Tunbridge Wells 20mins away with the famous Pantiles. Many historical Villages nearby including Mayfield and Burwash. My large garden is full of wild life with two resident badger sets. White Deer are frequent visitors and can often be seen at dawn and dusk from the terrace. Foxes and family of Hare. More recently, we have two families of the protected Hedge Hogs.
