The Eldhuset at Hjukse, the oldest farm in Hjuksebø

Eldhuset is a spacious farm building on the Hjukse farm with a unique view of Heddalsvannet with Gaustatoppen on the horizon. The home, which has 3 bedrooms, is suitable for families with children or couples on a trip. The accommodation has 6 beds for adults and 3 cots. In addition, there is a day bed in the living room. It can be a good place to stay for students for shorter periods. The farm is located 8 km from Notodden city center and is idyllically located among grain fields and fruit trees. In the yard there are chickens and playground equipment.

The cabin is located in an area surrounded by mighty mountains and is a perfect starting point for trips in the mountains or just to relax in beautiful nature. The children will probably also appreciate the short distance to Bø Sommarland and the climbing park in Bø. In summer there are sheep grazing in the area The cabin has 1 bathroom with shower cabin as well as sauna and a separate toilet room Also note the "game room" with combined air hockey table/billiard table.

The cabin at Ulveneset by Seljordsvatnet

Cabin with simple standard, idyllically located by Seljordsvannet in Bø/Seljord. 3 min walk to private beach/swimming area. Located along the old road by Seljordsvannet, easy access and parking by car. Two bedrooms, a double bed and a single bed. Sofa bed with room for two people in the living room. Living room and kitchen in one, with fridge, electricity and a small stove. Only an outhouse. Fishing included. Terrace with table, chairs and fire pit. No running water! Outdoor tap in the barn. Towels and bed linen must be brought.

Annex in Midt-Telemark

Cozy annex at Gvarv in Midt-Telemark municipality. The annex is located in beautiful surroundings with access to a jetty with bathing facilities. Farm shop with bakery is the closest neighbor, which serves fresh baked goods every day except Mondays. Gvarv is centrally located to most attractions in Midt-Telemark and Nome, including Bø Sommerland, Høyt og Lavt, Norsjø Kabelpark, Norsjø Golfpark and Telemarkskanalen. There is 1 bedroom + sofa bed Bed linen can be rented for NOK 100 per person. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 500.

The cabin is located right by a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have panoramic views of the water and Gaustatoppen from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. About 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross-country ski trails. The location in the middle of Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In summer it is possible to rent the canoe (shared with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350 per day.

Have fun with the whole family in this cabin with a stunning view. Great location on top of Lifjell, 802 meters above sea level. The cabin is 94 sqm and sleeps 8 people. The cabin is located in a dead end road with no transit traffic, with stunning views and ski in/out to Lifjell Ski Resort. In summer you will find several nice hiking areas, swimming and fishing opportunities. Bø Sommarland is just 10 min away by car. The cabin has facilities such as broadband, heating cables, bathtub, washing machine, dishwasher and fireplace.

Peaceful cottage idyll

For those who like to be in peaceful surroundings, with bathing water and pier. Approx. 500 meters to walk from the parking lot. 12V systems for lights with solar cell, gas for cooking and refrigerator, as well as water tap for drinking/cooking (tank 100 l.) There are possibilities for internet, but can be unstable. There is one bedroom with 6 beds plus living room and kitchen in open plan. It is approx. half an hour to drive to Bø Sommerland (waterpark for kids/families). Rowing boat included.

We rent the brewery/firehouse on the farm with large lawn at their disposal. Here children can play, kick football, etc. The house has a kitchen, living room, sauna and bathroom on the ground floor. On the second floor there are two bedrooms where there is room for six people in total. The first bedroom has two single beds. This bedroom you have to go through to get to the other, which contains a double bed, and two single beds. The house is rural. Opportunities for many activities nearby !!
