Welcome to "Doktorhytta", a spacious cabin at the foot of Ilfjellet. A short distance to fishing waters and a very nice hiking area. The cabin has no running water or electricity, but there is a gas cooker, a gas refrigerator and a solar panel (12v) for lighting and charging electronics. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with a family bunk bed in one room. The other room has a bunk bed and a camp bed. The toilet is indoors. Great view of the Oppdal and Budal mountains. The road is not cleared in winter, but snowmobile rides can be arranged.

The cabin is located at the end of the road at Oddgjerdet, shielded from traffic, but still within a nice walking distance to the shop. Our traditional cottage with gras roof has all modern facilities with kitchen and bathroom in the new basement. Scenic views of river valley. Located on a farm with lots of animals: sheep, horses, cats, hens, rabbits and a peacock. Great hiking and fishing! The cottage is in three stories; bedrooms on the top floor and bathroom/kitchen in the basement, with stairs in between. Not suitable for everyone, but for those who dont mind stairs the cottage offers a cozy and charming atmosphere!
