Here you can stay close to one of Norway's largest alpine resorts (Gaustablikk) and enjoy mountain hikes, a golf course, a water park, a riding centre, historical experiences, a museum, and shopping in Rjukan. The house overlooks one of Norway's most beautiful mountain peaks (Gaustadtoppen) and a beautiful waterfall in spring. The house has good room solutions over three floors with family bunk beds in the bedrooms. Cook good food in our large kitchen and have fun in our activity room with exercise equipment and games. Relax in the sauna and massage chair.

Idyllic spot by Lake Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

At 920 metres above sea level, you will have fantastic views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sunlight from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

The apartment is newly renovated and has a brand new bathroom - living room + 2 bedrooms with double beds ready made + sofa bed in the living room where bed linen is placed under the end of the sofa bed. Cot is in the bedroom closet. New kitchen and separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Private large terrace with barbecue and furniture. Private parking. Possibility of an electric car charger 2.7 kW per hour - upon request. The apartment must be quiet after 11 pm.

Ideal cottage for 2 families with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, hall and bathroom on the lower floor and 2 bedrooms, toilet and living room (with sofa bed and TV) on the upper floor.

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.
