This house, where my grandparents lived, had been vacant for a while after they passed away. I wanted to revive this house, which is full of memories of the time I spent with my grandparents as a child, as a place with human warmth once again – and that was the reason I started this old traditional house inn. The Otsuka district of Ichikawa Misato-cho, where the inn is located, is blessed with fertile soil known as "noppui", which produces vegetables with a rich flavour. In particular, "Amamamusa (sweet corn)", "Otsuka carrot" and "Otsuka aubergine" are well-known locally. Located on a hill, it offers beautiful views of the Kofu Basin and Yatsugatake, and is in a quiet and peaceful environment. There are also spots in the town where you can enjoy nature and culture, such as the scenic hot spring "Mitama-no-Yu", Kabuki Culture Park, Shio Renko Lakes, and the Ichikawa Park MTB Field.
