Holiday rentals with lake access in Mindanao

Steve and Cherrie are wonderful hosts, friendly, very informative providing all relevant information in a proactive manner. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a friendly caretaker who assisted with the initial introduction. The house is situated in a cosy, private, beautiful spot where your family can enjoy a relaxing stay. There are steps to lead you right to the pristine ocean waters, from which you will never want to leave. If you are brave enough, you want a little thrill and you are a good swimmer, you can try jumping from the small cliff... just some extra fun. The Bee Farm is very near (approximately 5 minutes drive), and I recommend visiting it if you like great icecream and yummy breakfasts! Thanks to Steve and Cherrie for allowing us to use their lovely property.

What a wonderful stay! Peter and Rowena were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with great tips and local recommendations. The property is a little paradise – stunning sunsets, a lush, well-kept garden, and an amazing chemical-free pool that we loved relaxing in. The bungalow itself is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a large fridge, a well-equipped kitchen, and everything spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the AC kept us cool even on the hottest days – we felt right at home. A special shoutout to the dogs – they’re so friendly and playful, and really added to the warm, welcoming vibe of the place. We’d absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

This is my second time staying at the guesthouse to celebrate my birthday. The place was very cozy and homey; it felt like home. The host is a very kind and understanding person. He is the kind of person who thinks in advance. If you don't have anything, he will give it to you. Thank you, MR. MILLER. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

tia's place is unique in the middle of the jungle and away from tourists. unprecedented experience but you should not be afraid of small animals like djeco, cockroaches, ants...the locals next to the accommodation are always there to help or advise you. the most, we can walk in 10 minutes to cambugahay independently by the forest before the opening of the site+++

Hosts were very accommodating and thoughtful. Above all, this place met my expectations. Definitely, will be back soon!

Juvy and her husband were quintessential hosts for our group of Americans and Filipinas from the mining industry. Our fully stocked beach house greeted us with freshly laid eggs and homemade bread from their farm to table homestead. The remote oceanfront location was pure paradise for quiet solitude yet close to town for easy access to groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed ongoing communication with Juvy, who accommodated our every need. She offered personal tours and made recommendations for local sightseeing and eateries. An amazing experience even for well-traveled adventurers. Five + stars!

Place felt like home. Area was private and the room was nice - also had addtitional rooms we could book if more people came with us. Will definitely come back!

The condition of the room is clean and nice! And it was nice that the hosts were very kind and active in solving problems. There are all the things nearby and the location is good. I highly recommend it!

Me and my partner had such a lovely stay here, the free bike was a big plus and definitely needed as the location is a bit of a drive from everything else, but we loved how private and peaceful it was, the facilities were great and the air con works really well as does the wifi, would highly recommend for a couple looking for a private location :)
