Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The farm Quinta de Ciparros lies close to the national park Peneda-Gerês, nestled in the hills with clear spring water. We are an agroecologic farm and grow and sell vegetable boxes. Guests can place and order. The simple house with granit terrace is basically one room with a tribune sleeping place for 4 persons and an annexed bathroom downstairs. It is in a small rural area, a quiet area surrounded by greenery where you can disconnect from the routine. The Camino de Santiago passes in front of it towards Finisterre. 5 km from Pontemaceira, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, it owes its name to the bridge built over the Tambre River in the 12th century, taking advantage of the pillars of an earlier Roman Bridge.

The house is located in the middle of nature, an unbeatable environment for those who enjoy life in the countryside, as well as for those who want a quiet environment a few minutes from the city, since it is located 20 minutes from A Coruña, 45 minutes from Santiago de Compostela and 5 minutes from the Cerceda water park. There are several hiking trails of different distances and difficulty levels available nearby. The house shares a property with my home.

You have room for the car if necessary, we do not mind if you come with your pet, we have three Golden Retrievers, 4 minutes from here you have the Gran Vía shopping centre with everything you may need, you will be 5 minutes from downtown by car or 20 minutes walk, or if you want you can take the bus that stops 20 meters from our home, we will help you to enjoy the best of our city.

Detached cottage just a short walk from the Camino

Enjoy a rural stay in our centuries-old stone cottage, surrounded by a park full of flowers and equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, heating, washing machine and dryer. Visit the nearby chapel, 'La Fervenza do Baroza', and the Camino de Santiago, which passes just 600 metres away. The main house is occupied by the family, but the smaller house is completely self-contained, with its own entrance and outdoor space.
