In addition to stunning views of the polder, you can also enjoy views of the river De Lek from the bench on the simple sandy beach. There are many cycling routes and fishing waters in the area. The mills of Kinderdijk are worthwhile and the cities of Gouda and Rotterdam are within 25 minutes by car. Amsterdam is 50 minutes away by car. Stay in a farmhouse dating from 1890

You will be staying in the old front part of our farmhouse dating from 1890, in the heart of the Green Heart. We have made it an idiosyncratic, homely place with vintage furniture, lots of colour and its own garden. You sleep in the old box bed in the upstairs room. Outside, you'll mainly find meadows, cows and polders. Rotterdam and Utrecht are about a 40-minute drive away.
