Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2-4 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Whilst being a very relaxing and welcoming house for families it is also the perfect location for friends who wish to have a break away. Four legged friends also welcome (2 dogs max) with large front and side garden/lawn **Please note- there is an additional charge of £75 for the wood fired hot tub. It needs to be requested and paid 24 hrs before arrival or it will not be available*

We do not provide or allow car charging at the house. Public chargers are found in Montrose.

Lots of space to make your own; making a feast or relaxing by the stove in the large kitchen, spotting dolphins from the conservatory or watching the moon rise out of the sea after a BBQ. Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.
