Family-friendly holiday rentals in Moorea-Maiao

Mareva and her husband were great. She stayed on top of our travel plans making sure we made it. We got there super late. Got our car and had trouble finding the house. Michael (her husband) came right away and found us and led us to the house. It’s upstairs so you’ll need to carry your luggage up. It wasn’t a big deal. They helped us. Even though it was so late (2am) Mareva and Michael got the ferry schedule and helped us figure out when we needed to leave to go to Moorea. Then they got up early and led us there and helped to get our tickets and they were able to get us a discount. We stayed one night and it was just a few hours. Everything was like in the description.

We loved our stay in this pristine paradise — an incredible view and gorgeous home with an unparalleled view! Moorea is a largely undeveloped gem that is interesting, gorgeous and peaceful. We loved our visit!

This is an amazing location. Convenient having access to the resort. Loved the open kitchen. It felt like I was on the beach with the sliding doors that fully open to the outside. Quiet and peaceful location with lots to do close by.

Thierry was very nice; he helped arrange a ride for us from the port and was there to greet us when we arrived. The apartment faces a nice pool in a very relaxing yard. We got to watch sunsets on a private beach and gaze at the stars. Would happily stay again.

The place is beautiful, very quiet, in the greenery and overlooking the sea. The accommodation is comfortable and well-equipped. Magalie is adorable and always ready to be of service. A little far from the city and the sea so a vehicle is a must. We highly recommend it.

A Dream Stay – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of spending a week in this wonderful accommodation, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The host, [Host's Name], was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided me with great tips for local restaurants and attractions that made my stay even better. The apartment itself was spotless and tastefully decorated. The amenities left nothing to be desired – from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. I particularly enjoyed the terrace, where I could sip my morning coffee while taking in the city view. The location is perfect! Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the Harbour , from where you can quickly access all the major sights. Additionally, there are plenty of cafés and shops nearby that made my stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation

Beautiful home in a quiet private residence on the heights of Moorea. We did not see Manava but she was available by phone without any worries. We'll be happy to go back

Really nice place, we stayed a week. The lagoon is amazing and access is easy. Mark is very helpful and a really nice guy. We will definitely be back, and would recommend this place to anyone.. very family friendly

Stayed 1 week at the Yellow house with my husband and 3 children. I loved the location on Opunohu Bay. The house is right on the water so when you look down out the kitchen windows you can see sharks, rays and tons of fish. Across the bay is Moorea activities and we booked a jet ski tour to go around the island which was a highlight of the trip for us all. The house is located in close proximity to two great hiking spots (but you will need a car to reach) Magic Mountain and Belvedere lookout. I would definitely say a car is a must if you stay here but you could spend your time swimming right out front of this house. We brought inflatable standup paddle boards and our kids were launching out every morning and evening. This house was equipped with fans only, they do not currently have a/c. The kitchen was nicely stocked with a brand new oven and a propane stove. The indoor bathrooms could use a window but I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Marks place is unique in its kind. A fantastic stay surrounded by nature, clean, has everything you need but also everything you’ve been looking for in Moorea. Mark has managed to create a very special atmosphere for this place that must find a place on your where-to-sleep list, Take time to talk a bit with Mark, he’s a lovely and really friendly host, Last thing : if you’re a pet lover, you’re gonna enjoy the cute visits from Mark furry friends. What a meeting. I came with two of my friends for fifteen days to Mark's. Mark and his wife were always present when we needed something and always at discretion. Every home has been built from Mark's hands and each of his homes are artwork. The place overlooks the mountains and we are only a hundred meters from an access to the lagoon. Rent a kayak and cross the lagoon you will most certainly see dolphins in their 20s play, jump, swim. Anyway, Thank you Mark for this welcome and this moment of fullness. Life is beautiful. We loved our bungalow and the beautiful setting all around it. Convenient to walk to a grocery store and a couple restaurants. Mark is very friendly and welcoming. Great spot!

We had the best stay at marks place, a true home away from home. Him and his family are wonderful hosts, and help you get the most out of Moorea. We stayed with our 7 month old baby and the place couldn’t have been better. The house is so homely, the photos really don’t do it justice! The section is a slice of paradise, set away from the hussle and bussle, the perfect spot to relax. Our home was cleaned daily which was such a treat! We also found our favourite food spots on the whole island were nearby, and the most beautiful beach is about 10 minutes drive. Marks place is the perfect spot for excellent surfing. He also had kayaks, scooters and bikes for you to use. 10/10 stay we will be back again!

A home full of charm, A location that has a great view of Papeete, the mountains, the sea. But the real plus is Nathalie who brings a sweetness, kindness and a generous sharing of Polynesian culture. Always ready to help, she is the soul of the place. If you're looking for more than a place to stay, a real moment of sharing, you're in the best place. I highly recommend it.

Awesome view, great communication and friendly host!

We loved our stay. The place is situated in such a special spot. It’s close to the reef break so we’re able to see plenty of whales while still able to enjoy the beach and lagoon. The house is so well curated with local art and has such a special feel to it. It’s feels more like a home with all the beautiful artwork and small touches than a cold hotel with or typical air b&b which we really appreciated. We have been to Moorea several times and will return again and hope to stay here again. The pool and view are wonderful additions to the already spectacular property.

Enjoyed our stay at the condo very much. Prompt and informational check in with Gäelle and partner, including dropping off the car we rented for the week. Condo was clean and had a stunning water view from inside and the patio. You could hear traffic on the main road that goes around Tahiti, but it wasn’t awful. Pool was great, quiet, perfect. It’s close to Carrefour, food trucks, restaurants, Papeete and the airport. Gäelle arranged a taxi to the ferry terminal that arrived at 600am on the button, as scheduled. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We were tremendously welcomed by Chris and his partner. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with a very nice view. Chris and his partner are adorable and responsive, full of kindness and attention. We would highly recommend it.

A studio in an amazing and very luxurious house with a wonderful common area/ swimming pool/view of the city. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Chebi is a polite and supportive host. We had a great time and experience staying at his place. I recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful bungalow located in a beautiful garden, quiet, minutes from shops and great restaurants. In terms of amenities, there is everything you need in the bungalow and on the property. Ingrid does everything you need to make you feel at home, not to mention Shaman, a discreet little companion who comes by to say hello in exchange for a few strokes. In short, just put down your bags and enjoy!! Thank you Ingrid for your hospitality and kindness.

My favorite airbnb stay in the southern hemisphere. Hope to come back soon. Great views, kayak from the land to one of the best snorkeling areas on Mo’orea. Wonderful garden and loved picking fresh herbs for cooking and bananas off the tree. Maea is a great host with great suggestions and positive energy.

This spot was absolutely wonderful. Incredibly beautiful, unique, and, comfortable. It had everything we needed for our family and is perfect for guests with school aged kids. The access to the kayaks and paddle boards were great. The pool was awesome and also necessary to cool down in the off season. It was a very relaxing environment and made for a perfect family vacation. Please note the beautiful lagoon has a really strong current by the reef so make sure you have flotation devices and fins, especially for younger kids or anyone who isn’t a strong swimmer.
