Un petit havre de paix pour les voyageurs en solo, les couples, les voyageurs d'affaires ou les familles jusque 4 personnes. La fôret se trouve à quelques minutes de marche de la maison. Vous accéderez au centre-ville et ses commerces à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous avons mis tout notre coeur dans la rénovation de cette maison, et nous espérons que vous y passerez un bon séjour!

My modest and welcoming home, which I share, offers travelers the means to relax, eat and above all rest. The room is large and comfortable with its queen size bed and desk facing the window. The bathroom is nice and functional. The living room and kitchen are also at their disposal for quick cooking… the south-facing terrace and garden offer them the opportunity to eat outside or sunbathe on the terrace. Finally, all the ingredients are there for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. It's a small, single-story cottage: small but functional and quiet. It is furnished for 1 traveler in an outbuilding of the house in the garden, so you are independent with an entrance and a private parking space under video surveillance.

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites.
