Lovely, quiet and private place with lots of bunnies, chickens and guinea pigs running around. Also famous! Appreciated the eggs and fruits Caron gave us. There is a really nice walk to the beach, 15 minutes by car. We had a good sleep and I would definitely stay again.

Sharlene’s place was well equipped and very clean. Upon checkin there was some milk, cereal, bread and spreads which was greatly appreciated. All the beds are comfortable and there’s a very functional kitchen. Sharlene herself as a host is also very kind even helping us get on top of our pile of washing when there was wet weather. I will mention for other travellers that the window coverings keep out very minimal light so if you’re a light sleeper or will be adjusting to new timezones an eye mask would be good. We had portable black out blinds with us but not enough for both bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay here. What a beautiful location! We loved being able to bring our dogs and there was a stunning lake walk for them just down the road. The place was quiet and private. Had all the listed amenities and looks just like the photos. Was a big place with a huge bathroom and good sized bedrooms. House was clean and well presented. We felt right at home! Just one thing to be mindful the internet/reception was not the best, was a good excuse to fully disconnect for a couple of days!

Loved our midweek short stay here, great instructions, easy to find, easy to relax and unwind with very little farm noise. Fresh raw milk in the fridge was a treat! Thank you Manuela!

We enjoyed our stay here, the unit was great with milk, breakfast and snacks supplied which was a lovely touch. It was (for us) too compact with having a portacot so might be better suited for people who don't need tonusebtheir portacot so you have space for the folder couch to pull out. Other than that, happy as and would definitely recommend to others!

Great location, easy walk to some really nice cafes and the beach. Clean and tidy place, the outdoor shower was amazing! Really responsive and helpful for an issue with hot water which was quickly resolved.

Our stay was nothing less than awesome! We booked for 2 nights but as we made ourselfs comfortable and really felt somehow like home, we actually extended our stay to another 2 nights! The cabin is lovely, private, perfectly well equipped. You get shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, cornflakes, milk, coke, beer and even a Nespresso Coffe machine with capsules. I mean.. what else could you wish for? For that price? That is exceptional. So if you are lucky enough travelling to Omokoroa or driving by, consider this lovely Cottage and its friendly owner. You absolutely can‘t go wrong. And of course, the highlight of the house is the whirlpool - kind of lived in there. Haha! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Parrot Nest, beautiful accommodation with everything you need! Spotless with such lovely touches making you feel right at home! Amazing communication and hospitality from the hosts Betty & Christian with tasty pretzels for breakfast and other yummy things in the fridge! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

This place is a little paradise! We had an amazing stay– the space was exactly as described, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. Natasha and Steve were such lovely hosts, always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality really made our trip special. Highly recommend this place – we can't wait to return!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place, just what I needed after a busy time. Tropical vibes and thoughtful details make this the perfect place to hang out and relax. Super comfortable beds, too. I look forward to coming back one day soon!

Second time staying here and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Absolutely amazing stay everything was perfect. A short walk to the beach and such a cute unit. I had a lovely stay at Katherine’s Airbnb. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a private entrance. While the temporary scaffolding over the entrance made access a little tricky, it didn’t affect my stay. The fully equipped modern kitchen was a standout feature, making it easy to prepare everyday meals. The apartment also offered a great space for family to visit and relax, which made my stay an even more enjoyable experience. There was plenty of room - in a comfortable setting - to sit, chat, and host family meals - several times during my visit! Unfortunately, traffic noise during the day was noticeable and especially distracting when sitting outside. Katherine was an excellent host, going above and beyond by allowing me to use her private laundry room. Overall, a great place to stay—clean, well-equipped, and with a welcoming host. I would definitely recommend it!

Stayed at this place in Jan2024! The house is amazing , very accessible, clean, walking distance to beach and town. The host had the house really well stocked and she was easy to contact. The pool is excellent especially if you have kids. I would highly recommend this place, it is good value for money.

Jan and Dan are personable, kind, and went out of their way to show hospitality to us on our 20th anniversary getaway. Loved the time!

Have stayed before so know what to expect.Great welcoming hosts. Even organized Avocados for us. Beautiful quiet setting in an orchard. Lovely house....beautiful landscaped courtyard with seating to relax...all.private. We will always try and stay here for all.our trips to see family in Tauranga.

Gorgeous studio unit which is stylishly furnished. Very comfy bed - highly recommend!
