The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. We are located just a one-minute walk from the sea and 1.5km from Tully Cross which has pubs, a shop and a church. Goirtín na gCloch is ideally situated for holiday makers looking to explore Connemara or visit the beach. The one-bedroom guesthouse, 20 metres from the family home on the same grounds, is suitable for an individual or couple and contains all modern conveniences; washer-dryer, large fridge, oven, smart TV, electrical heating, comfortable living area and electric shower.

Kylemore Abbey and Gardens are just across the lake outside the door which is suitable for fishing with boat hire also available
