Holiday rentals with beach access in Mozambique

Paradise properties is easy to find, right on the road that runs next to the beach. The house was clean, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed, appliances and ACs all worked well, and the pool was nice and cool. We arrived after reception closed but the security team were very friendly and prepared to let us in, all the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a path to thr beach right in front of the entrance and it’s not steep. The only caution I would add is that the balcony is made out of steel cables, so a toddler can get past it and fall, but that is clear in the photos that were provided so you just need to keep that in mind. We had a great stay and will definitely recommend it!

The paperwork was confusing as it refers to a pool but Loula was quick to confirm that there wasn’t one. The beach is right behind the property and the pier isn’t far away for a quick dip into the Indian Ocean. Fantastic restaurants and a bank are within walking distance and the Museum and other historical sites are a must-see!

Carla's place is in a great location, good value for money and very nice indeed. It can be a little tricky to find based on the standard instructions, but Carla was very responsible when we called and asked for guidance.

Perfect location for visitors as shops and beach is relatively close and transport is easily accessible. The host went an extra mile in making our stay a comfortable and memorable one. The pictures don’t do any justice as the place is more beautiful in person. I definitely recommend!

A really wonderful and peaceful stay. Very remote and quiet. The Turtle Cove lodge up the road is run by the same team and so it’s best to walk up there for any assistance, WiFi and great food at great prices if you feel like a break from cooking. There is no soap or beach towels so make sure you pack that :) Overall a great stay!

His studio was a perfect fit and the price was outstanding for the 8 days I spent. Aaron was gracious and super helpful, especially when a citywide electricity outage happened unexpectedly, he supplied beautiful fairy lantern and an additional space where the air flowed freely without a fan. Aaron was very responsive and made us feel comfortable and at home. He is definitely a super host! I would rent any space he hosts in the future.

Our stay at Vannessa's place was awesome. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets on the balcony overlooking the sea. The apartment is beautiful and secure. Close to restuarants and the malls. Malls and restuarants are a walk away. Vannessa has been an awesome host. There is also secure parking for the car inside the apartment building. Everything advertised by Vannessa about the apartment is spot on.

Our stay in Maputo was absolutely delightful! The Airbnb exceeded our expectations. The cozy atmosphere and stylish decor made us feel right at home. The host's attention to detail was impeccable, and they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the vibrant city easily. We appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for local spots, making our experience truly immersive. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Maputo, this Airbnb is a gem. Highly recommended!

Great location, spacious and clean apartment.

Rui's place is great - the house is beautiful and the terrace especially was lovely, and had everything that a group needed. The location is great, walkable to the beach and all the cafés/restaurants, and our housekeeper Julia was incredibly helpful! Rui was also super responsive and helpful with regards to all our questions! We had a great time and loved our stay.

The house is very well cared for, clean and extremely well equipped for an enjoyable stay. 20m far from the beach in a calm residence area, yet close to Ponta do Ouro's heart. House personnel is friendly and immediately available to clean and support you. Clare is a super host! Really recommended.

We had a lovely stay, it looked just like the photo's, we will definitely visit it again. I can fully recommend this place the location is perfect, clean , neat well serviced.

Djamila is a fantastic host. Very responsive and aleays helpfull. Our stay was very peaceful and plenty of relaxation time combined with activities in the area ensured everyone could do what they enjoy. The view from the house is amazing and Alberto is super.

I absolutely loved my stay! Sandra’s place has the most phenomenal view and felt like a luxe stay. One of, if not the nicest home in the area. Furniture was clean, rooms were free of bugs, everything worked properly, and the house staff were very kind. The house is located on a quiet stretch of beach (at least it was in February). Sandra was very responsive and was able to come up with an invitation letter quickly while I was at the border driving into MZ. She had great suggestions and was easy to coordinate with when we extending our stay an extra night. I cannot wait to return!

This is a hidden gem - perched on the banks of a sand dune overlooking the beach, which is a short 2min trundle down the dune. Watch out for the hot sand in Summer as you make your way to the beach! You need a 4x4 to manage through the soft sand, (HINT - remember to deflate your tyres) which certainly does keep the masses away. Large home made from natural, local material with the most amazing views and sunsets to truly blow one away. Luis checked us in and was always on call - We had fresh veg and rolls brought to us daily as well as seafood fit for royalty. Everything that we needed had been thought of, so much so that we only ever had to leave to draw money for local purchases.

I had an amazing stay at Suzanne’s beautiful home! The house is stunning, well-maintained, and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking beachfront view—it was truly mesmerizing to wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Suzanne was a fantastic host, kind and helpful, providing clear information about the location and how to get around, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant getaway. I would love to return in the future!

We arrived at Busani's place and we felt immediately at home. Check in was very easy and we had clear instructions. The apartment is very nice, just in front of the ocean, so we could sip our drink with a beautiful landscape. The area is peaceful, and all facilities for shopping (groceries and more) are just below. We definitely recommend!

Good value two bedroom house in Ponta Malongane. Kitchen was really-well equipped and a highlight was the gas bbq on the deck. Lovely to wake up to such vast views of the ocean. Everything worked well except for the internet.

From the moment we arrived at Go Wild Resort in Xai-Xai, it was clear we were in for a treat. This was our first visit to the area, and we couldn't have been more impressed with the accommodations and the staff. Simon and his team truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The house was not only beautiful but also well-maintained, which speaks volumes about the attention to detail. We initially planned to stay just one night as a stopover on our way back to South Africa, but we were so taken with the quality of our stay that we extended it. The level of service and hospitality provided by Simon and his staff was outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. I highly recommend Go Wild Resort for anyone visiting Xai-Xai. Whether you're looking for a brief stay or an extended getaway, you won't be disappointed by the incredible service and the beautiful setting.

Had a great stay at unit 17 Boa Vida. Fully air conned which suited perfectly as it was a hot weekend. Kitchen has all you need and there is also a gas braai. Closely situated to the hotel so you can even eat meals there if you wish. The beach is awesome for swimming and snorkeling so take your gear! Easy to find and the host was really happy to help with anything we needed. Don’t go if you don’t have a 4x4 or a shuttle to lift you :)

Great location, safe, peaceful and its close to the beach.

Sandra is a fantastic host—very communicative and welcoming. The place is safe, exceptionally clean, and equipped with all the promised amenities. Plus, there are great restaurants nearby. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely recommend it

Place was great for the purpose intended which was a business stay. Everything worked as expected.

Ana is a very welcoming host. The apartment is shared, but Ama is not there most of the time. Her house is well furnished, comfortable and very clean. It is located near many restaurants and supermarkets. The area is safe to walk even at night. We loved our stay.
