A characterful cosy cottage for two (Super King zip link or twin beds) in beautiful Arkengarthdale, the most northerly of The Yorkshire Dales, with large walk-in shower. There are stunning walks from the door, along Arkle Beck, through picturesque woods or onto open moorland. Secure cycle storage is available, the area is perfect for on and off-road cycling and we can advise guests on some great routes. A village pub, and a highly regarded hotel restaurant are a short walk away. Sorry, no pets.

Ideal for active or relaxing holidays, West Chapel Cottage sits in the pretty village of Thwaite, near Muker in Swaledale. The private terrace with table and chairs overlooks a lovely waterfall. Beautiful walks straight from the front door and lockable storage for cycles. Coffee shop and bar in the village. A scenic mile-long walk across fields takes you to the Farmers Arms in Muker, with excellent food. The bustling market town of Hawes is a short drive away, over the famous Buttertubs Pass.

Quirky, stylish and very central. This charming cottage will accommodate 2 people and boasts all the facilities expected from a much larger property. What the cottage lacks in size, it certainly makes up for in location and home comforts. Literally a stone’s throw from the famous waterfalls of Gayle Beck and a few minutes walk from Hawes’ historic Market Square with its numerous shops, cafes and pubs, ‘The Shop on the Bridge’ is an ideal bolthole for a mini break away from it all.
