Holiday rentals with breakfast in Munnar

The place is amazing. Melbin is a very good host, very friendly and treats guests like family. He helped us with the itinerary and cab for the trip around Munnar. The stay was amazing, zero hassles. About the place: The road which leads to the stay from the main road is a bit narrow. But Melbin himself arrived and took us in his car to directly to the stay. The place, the architecture, the plan, the accessories and service is all great. The view, nature, surroundings is nothing less than exceptional. Thank you Melbin for making the stay memorable

little bit far from Munnar. but peaceful location. They arranged even a private jeep for touring the near by sights. Breakfas was good and was ontime. Hot water was an issue but only for a day. totally private and comfortable for both family and friends

Our stay was incredible, the house and property are truly beautiful and better than described. The house is spacious and comfortable. I will say that my husband and I traveled around India for 3+ weeks and Deepu's home was the only one with consistent, amazing hot water in the showers. Everything is sustainable, grown from the earth, and thoughtfully crafted. Deepu, Sanita, and Shijo were amazing hosts who were very responsive, kind, caring, and invested in us enjoying our time there. They went above and beyond to ensure this. We had a fantastic time during our stay in Munnar. This was our first trip to Munnar, and Asish and his team made it an effortless and enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived in Munnar, Asish’s team took care of everything. They picked us up from Madurai, organized sightseeing tours, planned activities, and even arranged for our return to Madurai. Our driver, Vijay, was an absolute gem. He drove us from Munnar to Madurai and back, making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable journey. Vijay was not only a skilled driver but also a knowledgeable guide. He took us to breathtaking locations and recommended exciting activities to do in Munnar. His flexibility and attentiveness made our trip a breeze. We also had a thrilling off-road jeep safari on the mountains with Nithin. It was an incredible and adventurous experience that we will cherish forever. a special place has been created here - lovely landscaped garden areas and the mudhut itself was spacious, clean and very well presented. outside there were stunning mountain views. the meals were delicious and service was friendly (note that because of the remote location there isn't really anywhere else to dine). it is a long journey from kochi but absolutley worth it, highly recommend.

I had a opportunity to stay at Calm Shack with my family for 3 days. My expectations were to have a calm and peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. This location not only met these expectations but surpassed it. The hosts were very friendly. Ajay and his parents treated as their own family. The property, the surroundings were out of the world. For those who want to have a peaceful stay and enjoy nature, this is the place. The food served by the host was awesome. All in all I would rate this as the best part of our Munnar itinerary.

We had a very pleasant stay. The place was neat and clean. We felt right at home, like we were visiting a relative. Uncle and aunty are very hard working, helpful and polite. My 80 year old grandma was travelling with us, so I'd requested that they keep a wiper and cleaning liquid in the bathroom in case we needed it...this request was accomodated. Uncle gave us great recommendations for veg restaurants, made us an itinerary for sightseeing around Munnar and also suggested shops near to the property where we bought dhavani, sarees and spices at very reasonable rates. Aunty cooked us idli and appam for breakfast and idichakka (jackfruit stir-fry sabzi) for dinner. Before reaching I'd enquired if I will get jackfruit halwa in Munnar; since that wasn't possible at the time, aunty cooked idichakka. Uncle showed us all the spice trees he could with the limited time we had as we didn't have enough time to see his spice garden. We had a taxi so getting around was easy.

The Planter''s Foyer is in a magical place, Kamballikad. It is the result of friends and families coming together under the shared vision of natural building and nature based living. The architectural touches are just divine, from the use of natural materials like stone, wood and reclaimed stuff, to antique pieces and soulful stuff dotting everything - it is quite something- a class apart from the average concrete monstrosity put together usually in Kerala. We booked for two days and stayed on location the whole time. Making walks to find sunrise and sunset spots, to being served meals three times a day by the caretaker Shijo- which had its highlights: Idiappam, the pork curry, among many things. I loved the skylight in the bathrooms, the shade for the lamps, the wooden boxes for all electrical fixtures. The last stretch to the location is a task for the unseasoned driver, the cllimb is very steep and I struggled, but we could have utilised the caretaker's offer to drive up

The stay at Swastham was great and unforgettable experience. Mr. Joy was so helpful and very friendly. The bungalow has a massive plantation where Mr. Joy took us for visit, it was so pleasant and informative. He described about the plants and cultivation process, my kids and wife enjoyed very well. Had homemade foods daily which is so tasteful. One day Mrs. Joy cooked traditional Kerala style breakfast and it was truly tasty. Every morning we wake up by hearing beautiful sounds of the birds and hot coffee and sit out is unbelievable. There are two caretakers and they were very friendly and we felt like staying in our home. I highly recommend this place. Truly truly amazing.
