The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Claret Ash Cottage is a beautiful 1890's mining cottage nestled in the hamlet of Elderslie, Hunter Valley. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.

The Old School Weathershed is located in the small and vibrant village of Gundy, 20km east of Scone in the Upper Hunter. Boasting lovely scenery, horse studs, cycling and bushwalking it is a beautiful, tranquil part of NSW with plenty to see and do. The Old School of Gundy was built in the late 1800's and converted to a stunning home in recent times. The Weather Shed is the children's playground shelter, beautifully converted into luxury guest accommodation.
