The Upper Clarence district offers a choice of outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, bird-watching, bushwalking, 4wdriving as well as the local show, campdraft, and dog trials are held annually.

You can relax by the pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, or you can take a short 15 minute drive into the stunning beaches of Yamba, or 10 minutes to the quaint township of Maclean, situated on the banks of the Clarence River. Situated up a dirt road, amongst koala trees and on the river, in the small community of Rileys Hill, close to Evans Head.

It is a 2 hours drive from Brisbane, 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast, and 1 hour from Byron Bay. The cabin itself is a fully off-the-grid retreat. Explore the small town of Kyogle, one of the hidden gems of Northern NSW, and access the beauty of the Border Ranges National Park.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Accommodation consists of an en-suite and generous bedroom with queen bed, ample packing space and private lounge with TV and kitchenette, a sparkling pool and undercover BBQ area, with plenty of safe off-street parking available. Unfortunately our flat is not set up for children nor is our property available for pets. This is all in a very tranquil setting (only 6 km from the highway), with lots of bird and animal life.

Please be mindful before you book that if it rains road will be closed and 4wd will be needed to gain access if conditions allow via different directions. Remote and 15 metres off world heritage listed rainforest. This is the ultimate if you are looking for a place to wind down and simply enjoy watching the day go by & recharge your entire self in this beautiful part of the world.
