Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.The property is in a very convenient location, with the Kumano Kodo and Chikurōji approximately 550 metres away (around a 7-minute walk), and a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and a restaurant (Tororoya) all within a 1-minute walk. As the owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, we will do our best to answer any questions you may have about walking the ancient pilgrimage route, provide advice, and offer transport if needed.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to enquire. Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine is next to the waterfall, so you can feel the grandeur of nature in a majestic atmosphere. In addition, Daimon-zaka, Seiganto-ji Temple, Sanju no Tower, Fudarasan-ji Temple, Whale Museum, Kinoshima Tour, Dolphin Base, etc. are full of sightseeing spots. The 1st floor has a kitchen, toilet, bathroom, living room, entrance, and a 6-tatami bedroom The second floor has a bedroom and two rooms with six tatami mats. It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
