About a 10-minute walk from the Takutsubashi bus stop (free shuttle service to Hongu Taisha in Hongu-cho). "Hijiri" is located in a quiet village overlooking the Kumano River. You can spend time with your family and friends without worrying about other people. An inn in the midst of nature where you can gaze at the starry sky at night and wake up to the sound of birds in the morning. There are hot springs nearby [Yunomine, Kawayu, and Watase (free shuttle service)]. Regarding meals, we provide bread, eggs, ham, etc. for breakfast. You can also order various bento boxes and other items (for a fee). You are free to bring your own food. BBQ equipment can also be rented for a fee. Please consult with us when booking. Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.The property is in a very convenient location, with the Kumano Kodo and Chikurōji approximately 550 metres away (around a 7-minute walk), and a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and a restaurant (Tororoya) all within a 1-minute walk. As the owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, we will do our best to answer any questions you may have about walking the ancient pilgrimage route, provide advice, and offer transport if needed.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to enquire. The host can only speak Japanese, but thank you very much. Nachi Falls, with a drop of 133 m. It is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan. The waterfall is spectacular when seen up close. Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine is next to the waterfall, so you can feel the grandeur of nature in a majestic atmosphere. In addition, Daimon-zaka, Seiganto-ji Temple, Sanju no Tower, Fudarasan-ji Temple, Whale Museum, Kinoshima Tour, Dolphin Base, etc. are full of sightseeing spots. The 1st floor has a kitchen, toilet, bathroom, living room, entrance, and a 6-tatami bedroom The second floor has a bedroom and two rooms with six tatami mats. The nearest bus stop is Ninosebashi bus stop. The electric sign is a landmark.　 There is a hot spring facility and restaurant about 10 minutes on foot. Until now, there were no restaurants nearby (convenience stores are within a few minutes' drive), but a Japanese restaurant has opened just around the corner. You can also enjoy ramen at lunch time. It is also conveniently located as a base for visiting Kumano. Please visit Nachiyama after doing Shiogori (cleansing your mind and body with seawater) at Nachinohama, which is a 4-minute walk. Convenience stores are a 3-minute walk away, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, Katsuura Onsen, and Yukawa Onsen within a 10-minute drive, making it a very convenient location. Enjoy delicious seafood and hot springs to fill your body and mind. Relax in the garden with a cup of tea and enjoy a luxurious time in harmony with nature.

Kumano Kodo 1 day 1 group limited, a house with a beautiful stream in front of the inn

There are no houses around and it's quiet. Recommended for those who value privacy! It is about a 10-minute drive to Hongu Taisha Shrine and about a 5-minute drive to Kumano Kodo Ukekawa and Kawayu Onsen, making it a perfect base for a trip to Kumano. In front of the house, you can enjoy playing in the river, barbecues, bonfires, insect collecting, bird watching, stargazing, mountain walking, and more. We also provide a kitchen and barbecue grill, so please bring only the ingredients. Relax with family and friends at this peaceful place to stay.

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

"MINE-no-Yado" Mine own house is a small Japanese style cottage in Mine village where includes Takijiri-oji, the entrance to the sacred mountains of Kumano. The house is at an elevation of 300m. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Kumano mountains, a wonderful starry night and even sea of clouds.

Nearby is the trending Kawabutsu River, the shortest in Japan, and Tamano-ura Beach. Mt. Futo is also perfect for a walking course (15 minutes), with a monument to Sato Haruo's song and a view of the Pacific Ocean. It is also designated as an evacuation area. Surfing is also close by.
