Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. It is a newer nice cabin for a relaxing stay 20 meters from the lake Næra. Here you can fish without a fishing license. Inside: The sofa bed gives you two extra sleeping places. The cabin has water limited to the shower and sink. A cosy outdoor toilet in a shed one metre from the cabin wall. This one is equipped with lighting, heating and an air extractor for minimal odour. Drinking water will be delivered before your arrival. Exterior: Private jetty, rowing boat and kayaks available. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
