As a surfing destination, our fully equipped cottage is perfect for a quick lock up and go or a small family chill out holiday. It offers everything you need for a coastal getaway, from a hot outside shower to a large deck area with mountain views. The cottage is 10 min walk to the famous Elands Bay break. Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

J’aime la Mer offers up to 2 guests (unfortunately no children under 7 years) the opportunity to stay right on the beach in Paternoster. This ideally situated free standing self-catering cottage offers the best views of endless beaches. Not even a road in front of the cottage. Inverter and back up batteries during power failures. We will do our best to ensure that the lights, TV and Wi-Fi are working. Crayfish abalone may not be cooked or stored on the premises. Bathroom areas are small.
