“The host is very kind. I really enjoyed it and stayed with a lot of help. The hotel is a 30-minute walk from the bus terminal toward the temple in the mountains. You can't walk to the city on foot, but it's much easier to rent a bike. If you would like a bike, please contact the bike shop. The breakfast was packed with care and was pleasant every morning. I am traveling with a 1 year old baby and you have an extra mat and a quilt next to your bed and a breakfast for your baby. (Without additional charge) I didn't make a reservation but I didn't have a room the next day, so I had to check out. You came back to pick up something you left behind on the bike. It was really nice to find a good host and hostel in I. I will stay here again if I go to Nan.”
Our apartment is closed Big C super department store and Namthong Market. Our apartment is far from “Wat Phumin” that is is a royal temple in NAN and Kuang Mueng Nan Walking Street about 1 km., 1.2 Km. from Nan National Museum. About 5 km from "Wat Phra That Chae Haeng" , 6.86 km from Nan Airport and there is not a lot of traffic to go there from my place. Moreover, if you plan to go Wat Phra That Khao Noi, Wat Sri Phun Ton and Wat Chang Khum and more temple stay at the city center.
“Baan9 was a lovely tradition-style thai home with several guest rooms. We especially loved the upper level open air eating space. It was equipped with a microwave, cold & hot water, dishes, sink and a few light snacks. Our Host was very responsive when we had questions (and we had alot) and provided some local tips. Her Housekeeper seems to live on the property and was always there cleaning. She did a FANTASTIC job keeping our room & linens fresh & supplying us with drinking water. The bicycles provided were not in the best condition, but they made efforts to air the tires, etc once they knew we were utilizing them. And we used them almost daily. There is a scooter rental next to the bus station. Cost is 300 baht/day. Although the listing says breakfast is included, this is not the case. However, there is a menu in the kitchen that you can order delivery. Tip: avoid eating in your room and utilize the open air kitchen. There are ALOT of ants eager and quick to find any crumb and you will have issues in your room if you indulge in bedtime snacks no matter how tidy you are! We found the location ideal. Quiet but convenient by bike to all we wanted to see (although we dont mind walking/biking several miles). You really do need a scooter or car to see any of the surrounding area though.”
