Oak Hut - one of our four traditional Shepherds huts imported from the Uk with a little of our own flair - a large deck and private bathroom attached. Cosy, comfortable, affordable place to stop for a night or two in the lovely Mount Kenya Region. This hut has 3 single beds. This hut is one of four so plenty of space for you to visit as a family or a group of friends.
“Beautiful, private little spot with plenty of greenery which our toddler enjoyed running around in. Staff were all lovely and the restaurant on site had yummy food for when we didn't want to go far to eat. Fantastic views! Although it can get cold at night outside the huts were surprisingly warm inside and had all the basics we needed to get milk and food warmed for our toddler. Would definitely stay again, close to most places but nice distance from the town so you feel well rested to be out in nature.”
A spacious and quiet living space for short and long term stay. Conveniently located close to town (8 minutes on foot, 3 minutes driving) and a stones throw away from Sportman Arms Hotel. It is within a gated estate with good security.
“The place was clean, peaceful and just as is shown in the app. The location was perfect and I would not only recommend, but would definitely come back! Thank you so much for your hospitality and on being kind enough to wait on us until our arrival!”

“Steve's place is a great getaway for folks looking to leave the noisy city for a few days. We were a bit disappointed since the cottage is on a compound with another building (and not completely isolated), but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is cosy and everything is well thought through. Apart from the majestic morning view of Mt. Kenya, you're surrounded by trees and there are always chirping birds and crickets to give you that country feeling. We quite enjoyed our stay.”
