Light and airy 1 bedroom self contained apartment. The apartment faces North East and gets the sea breezes. It has off street parking, its own entrance, private balcony with water glimpses, with separate living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/dining. The living room and bedroom have ceiling fans. Everything freshly painted, with new queen-size bed, sofa bed, oven and fridge.
“We had a great stay at Ken and Emily's apartment. The place was clean, well spaced and organized. The kitchen was perfectly equipped (with even a few cooking ingredients to use) and breakfast was what you'd expect. Ken and Emily were well disposed, unresponsive to knocks on their door but super responsive through the app's messages. The location is tricky because its near the dee why center but you have to go up and down a big flight of stairs, which makes bringing groceries a tough effort, besides it is actually pretty far from the beach. My only disappointment was the privacy. The apartment is attached to the host's house so one has to be super careful about making noises and staying up late. Which we were not at first, and recieved an angry response from the hosts. It is not that their are mean or ill-disposed, it was our fault not to take that into account. But, still, it's something worth knowing. Would recommend it to anyone except for young people who would like to staying up until around 12 am.”

“David and Lorna have created a space that is not only visually aesthetic but also incredibly functional. They are fantastic hosts who welcomed my mum and I with a beautiful initial touch and regular check-ins. In my 5 nights of being there, my summary would be: - an incredibly tranquil space with an abundance of natural lighting (flowing through the many windows and sky lights) - the entry and exit is via two keypads (which means there no keys for you to lose) - the apartment comes with a designated parking spot (open-air) - the apartment layout includes a: kitchen, laundry, study/work station, dining, living, piano hub, bedroom, and bathroom - there is no clutter however as every section of the apartment is well-designed (with a minimalist touch) - each section is also well-equipped (you literally have to see it to believe it. I mean I added paprika to my eggs just because I could) - there are also labels, instructions and tips where needed (which is so great) - and finally, the apartment is in prime location (Coles and a whole bunch of neat dining options are less than a five minutes away. The apartment is also near two main roads which easily connect you to other parts of the Northern Beaches). This place is recommended for those who want to at least one of the following in the Northern beaches: relax, explore, work, study, or dabble in a bit of piano playing. Can't wait to go back xx”
One room in a new house in a very quiet street, near public transport to City, Manly and Chatswood. Very green surrounding. You will be sharing the house with the female owner and another guest in a four bedroom and three bathroom house. You can use the kitchen living areas and garden. We don't have any rules but courtesy. We speak English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and a bit of Dutch.
“I had a very good 10 days at Emilia's place. She is a very polite and well educated woman. As a long term resident of Sydney she offered many great local tips about what to visit and to do. Also I got to learn about the Australian culture and lifestyle during our little chats. The place is situated in a very quiet neighborhood yet it is walking distance from a shopping mall. There aren't many restaurants nearby other than the 24 hour open McDonals which is 5 min away. There is a nearby bus stop that has busses to the city centre (30-40 min) and to Manly beach (10min).”
