This cosy modern cottage is nestled amongst native trees and birdlife. Just steps from the scenic Kaitoke Walkway, this modern one-bedroom abode combines cosy comfort with a light footprint. The cottage offers an open living area, separate bedroom, bathroom and a private patio-area, all crafted with sustainable materials. The cottage is located in the back of our family property with private access and carpark. We provide fresh linen and towels, tea & coffee, and basic cooking facilities.

Relax at a unique and tranquil getaway, cosy, romantic and immersed in nature. An open plan studio nestled next to a gentle stream on the native forested foothills of Whale bay, Raglan. An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.

The Lantern

Enjoy a late check out! Down the road you will find local designer shopping; great cafes, coffee, cocktail bar and beaches all only 15 min walk. World renown Surf points a 10 min drive. So many water activities to explore. Bridal Veil falls, Karioi hike treks Waingaro hot pools and more, all within 25min drive from Raglan. Or, just relax in The Lanterns air conditioned comfort, with peaceful water views and the sleeping lady, Karioi mountain.

Te Aka Raukura - close to town & surf

Unwind and enjoy being close to town, surf, and everything Whāingaroa-Raglan has on offer. Watch the sunset from the deck, cozy up in front of the fire, chill out in a vintage-styled space or grab a flat white from the cafe from around the corner before wandering down to the harbour. The perfect surfer’s retreat on the west side of the one-way bridge, just a quick drive to Whale Bay. A great spot for kids! And pets are welcome!

Fresh, clean, self contained studio apartment suitable for a couple, or a single person. It has it's own deck, and offers ocean and bush views, with a short walk to the foreshore, to Whale Bay, and Indicators surf breaks. Kitchenette, en suite, and outside barbecue set on the ground floor of a two story dwelling. The Apartment has a high stud and retains a natural separation from the main dwelling. Warm with lots of sun.

Relax, take your shoes off and unwind. Nestled in a bushclad valley, the cottage is located within walking distance of the famous Raglan Beach and 4 km from Raglan's shops and restaurants. Newly renovated it features a comfortable living area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a cozy bedroom. There is a fold-out couch available for the little ones to sleep in.
